"Right now, he thinks he's Toni Kukoc. I want him to play like Bill Russell but I don't think he knows who Bill Russell is." -- Larry Brown, on Darko Milicic.

Nash and Matt Barnes are suspended for Wednesday's "brawl"

I hope we run the Miller-Hawes-Thompson lineup big minutes tonight to combat the rebounding of Shaq and Stoudamire and make us run big minutes tonight. We definitely have a shot to win if we play at the same pace as we did against the Clips. I really think we can win with this offense if we rebound as well as we did last game. I think this is a game we can win without Martin and Garcia, it is evened out with loss of Nash and Barnes.

With no Nash, we definitely have a shot at home. We should consider that Shaq is a bit rejuvenated this year, but I think maybe we let either Shaq or Amare get his (although Amare will likely have a tougher time without Nash) and just make sure they don't move the ball too much.

I just hope I can stay awake for the game (very long day yesterday that ended at 10 this morning). Maybe I should take another nap.

I wonder if Barbosa is playing also. His mother just past away so he might be heading back to Brazil.

^^No, sounds like he's already flown back to Brazil...

PHOENIX (AP)—Phoenix Suns guard Leandro Barbosa returned to Brazil after his mother died.

He flew to his hometown of Sao Paulo late Thursday after learning of the death of his mother, Ivete Barbosa. Team officials are not sure when Barbosa will return.

His mother had been ill, and he missed two weeks of training camp because she was hospitalized.

The Suns play the Kings on Friday night in Sacramento.

Once again, it's nice to get another HD game, but man, where's the freakin sound. I hope they're fixing it or even know about it.

Ugh, crappy first quarter. We have to focus more on Shaq defensively with Amare out, and we need to not go to Brad in the post when Shaq is guarding him. He's not going to draw any attention and he's not going to score.

We're just not doing anything well right now...like at all. We're lucky to even be this close.

God this quadruple teaming Shaq thing has to stop! I don't get it. They need to designate who will double on him but 4 guys can't be the plan, has to be a miscommunication right?

I thought we did ok the first quarter, but the second quarter the ball movement stopped and we had a hard time scoring. Why does Miller keep trying to post up and take the ball to the basket? That's not his game, it's not working this game and it wont work in any games in the future. People need to play within their roles better. Thompson has missed 2 or 3 easy shots, and that was the worst I have seen Brown play. I remember when Bobby Jax was a good shooter.

Miller's getting his shots now but he can't knock em down.

The big line up is useless, Cause we do not have the personnel that would be able to bang down low, we have to execute and play a finesse running game...

Agreed. And defensively, Jason is getting killed by Grant Hill.

We have missed so many easy shots, I can't believe we are only down by 9.
