lol...we're nothing without A-rod
whats up with the new starting line-up..it's really weird to see Greene (who has played sparingly) in when we could have Hawes or someone else starting. Anyone know?

Haha, in memory of a-rod there will be no game threads.
I am liking the youth!!! Greene, Hawes, and Thompson need to be out there more.

I think Theus wanted to go with someone with more length at the 3 and move Salmons to a more natural (for him) position at the 2. Greene has actually been doing a pretty good job so far.
And, yes...a-rod is not allowed to go on work trips. We rely on him too much!

That was a freaking pushoff by Paul on Greene. I can't believe they didn't call that!!!

It's the freaking Donte Greene Show!!! I was happy to see him get his first start. I think we can agree that he has struggled. He still has a lot of work to do on his defensive game, but he's a rook and will learn. The future is bright, Greene, Brown, and Hawes look good. Spence had a real nice block on Chandler.
I wanna see that last play, It looked like CP3 just got Donte good on the hesitation drive.

Bobby Jax has his jumpshot going tonight!!
It will be interesting to see if this team can keep an 8 pt lead with 3 minutes left. They blew leads against Pho. and S.A, let's see if they learned anything.

The team just didn't know what to do with Gay Mayo last night.

yea, not to put the kings down or anything like that..but i guess matchups do play more of a role in the nba than most other factors

There should be a team with Mikki Moore, Rudy Gay, Luther Head, Kevin Love so the lineup could be:
Gay-Love-Moore-Head- ? with Terry Cummings as the coach.

GUtsy, gutsy, gutsy win.
The young guys came up BIG. Donte Greene especially, he gave us a terrific spark to start the game.

I can't believe this win tonight! Great effort...finally. Donte looked great and B-Jax was the B-Jax we were used to. Maybe this will take Scott Howard-Cooper off of Theus' death watch.
Interesting note...Douby's stat line is a DNP-CD. I say it's not a coincidence.

What D by Bobby on Paul! Great win.
John played like a superstar tonight. SF's have a horrific time trying to guard him one on one. He tore up anyone that tried to stop him.
Feel bad for Quincy not getting a chance at redemption.
I also noticed that the Hornets are unbelievably thin at C.

I hope we can get more efforts like this. That was a helluva game. If you don't like that, you don't like Kings basketball!!!!!!!!!!

Caught the 4th qtr, got the rest of the game on tape...
Awesome stuff right there by this team, and I really like the move to start Donte, played impressively for sure
B-Jax was fantastic on both sides of the floor
John from what I saw and heard was excellent once again
Brad looked solid from what I saw
Need to see the rest of the game to see the others performances
New Orleans continues to be a limited offensive team after Paul and West. And specifically, to me West can't be your sole source of legit offense up front, as well as not be your best, and typically sole 2nd option for offense. I think he's more of a third option, or a guy who can definitely one part of a pair of players who fill that 2nd option offensive attack, after your main guy (Paul here).
I think the league is beginning to figure New Orleans out now that they've had awhile to look them over, and see what they're about (a serious team, and how they play). Also, on top of that, New Orleans not improving their lack of offensive creativity after Paul and West, having less reliance on CP3 (too much), nor their big man depth, as well as lacking a proven secondary ball-handler who is an above-average player. Another thing is just the league getting stronger, overall, than it was last year.
James Posey is a nice addition to any team for sure, but you need a team like Miami or Boston around him, for him to be most effective. New Orleans isn't close to the offensive ability of either of those teams, and their bench isn't as well-rounded as either Miami/Boston. Especially up at PF/C and other play-makers.
Good regular season team, competitive playoff team, but not a legit threat for the latter part of the post-season IMO.
