Theus is on the hot seat so Sac-town sees an opportunity to prove why Theus should stay.
Our team still isn't healthy...Martin is out again.
This will be the last chance for Theus, losing to the hated Lakers tonight will not only continue the 8 game losing streak (making it 9), it will also break the franchise record for consecutive home losses (9). It's completely unreasonable to ask Theus to beat one of the best teams in the NBA (if not, the best) with such pressure on him but...we never should have lost 8 games in a row at home anyways. If the Kings lose, expect them to fire Theus after Friday's game, because no intern coach should be asked to play their first game against the Lakers in L.A.
