Kings/Blazers...12-16-08: 7pm@The Rose Garden

There are some who say that it will be a cold day in hell before the Kings beat the Blazers this year. Well, it's damn cold in Portland today!

The guys gave a pretty good showing last night in Natt's debut. But that was against the 3rd worst team in the league. The Blazers aren't the T-wolves. Although the Blazers are on a 3 game skid, it's hard to imagine they will let that skid last too long. A team playing the second half of a back-to-back with a coach making only his second appearance in the big chair is a team that sliding teams look for to end their skid. A win for the Kings tonight may be way too much to hope for.

Prediction: Kings 108, Blazers 90.

It's gonna be pretty hot inside the Rose Garden tonight though! :D

Anyways, best of luck and here's for a good showing from both teams tonight!

It might be too much to hope for, but what a big win this could be. Im ready to put the Theus issue behind us and look to get closer to 10 wins.....but one last note, did anyone catch Mike and Mike this morning talking about the Theus firing? Greeny went down our roster and said that we have no players who are even "average" and conceded to only knowing Bobby Jackson. Im not a fan of a number of teams, but still know even their scrubbiest players. I may be delirious or just full of Xmas cheer, but I was under the impression that Spencer was considered a solid prospect across the league (tonight gets his chance against draft mate Oden!), and KMart while unheralded shouldn't be read with the same enthusiasm as Shelden Willians....is Greeny a bigger east coast bias snob than I had previously believed? Tonight, I hope to see a rotation and some more progress in the offense..one final thing, Golic suggested that the Kings should make like the TWolves and force the (responsible party) Maloofs to coach the team.

Blazers stole a game from us, we need to pay them back.

Nice fast start. Salmons is just going nuts...in a good way. I'm encouraged.

I don't wanna talk too see, but we look like a different team out there. The spacing is great and guys are moving around. If we lose fine, but I like to see the team giving great effort, and they're doing that right now.

Beno with a turnover.

Brown > Beno

Good move, Natt is pulling Beno. I hope he keeps him on the bench the rest of the half.

I see hustle!

I didn't get to watch the game last night...I was working the game.

So Theus was fired because he was selfish?

We had similar hustle last night. If nothing else, the coaching move seems to be an attitude adjustment for the roster.

Man I'm done even supporting the notion that Udrih should be a starting PG in this league. He's on a Marko Jaric level IMO! Brown has outplayed him all year.

Just as I type that he throws up that garbage.

Why must we commit so many fouls???? The Beno Udrih experiment is over, please start Bobby Brown now!!!

Well, I would rather have the lead after the 1st, but I will gladly accept only being down 1 while giving up less than 30 points. We're still alive.

Watching Beno throwing turnovers after turnovers is frustrating. Hopefully, he gets his act together.
