After 2 days of rest we get to face the Rockets in Houston. Not expecting a win, but I would like to see the team play with energy and desire.

By the looks of the way we're playing so far, we've got a chance at winning this.

You know I was paying pretty close attention to what Reggie had been doing rotation wise when Garcia came back and/or when Kevin was available and Natt is having to do the same thing. To play guys a fair number of minutes he's having to take the starters out for like 7- 9 minute stretches and repeatedly we see why you just can't do that. Just about every game they come back in and they are completely out of sync and as soon as they get it back they go back to the bench. The rotation needs to be shortened down to 9 at the most and more preferably the old 8 1/2 standard.

How come we only see this energy out of Brad when he plays against Yao.

Has anyone pointed out yet that Beno sucks? I'm getting to the point where I really can't stand seeing him on the floor.

I second that. I wish we could trade him. Horrible signing by Petrie.

Well, a loss as expected. But I'm happy with the energy and effort the guys played with. They still had a chance to pull it out down to the final couple of minutes, but they just weren't good enough to complete the deal.
My Christmas wish now is that Beno gets traded soon. I really have gotten tired of him. At least give Bobby Brown a starting opportunity and bring Beno off the bench (for like 8 minutes a game). His turnovers just kill us every game.

Good game guys. Im kind of mad that you guys didnt put in Donte Greene (my favorite rookie this season). You guys play with alot of passion tonight, and that scared the crap out of me. Bobby Jackson was a nightmare for us tonight. You guiys are about 3 years away from becoming a good team. Good luck the rest of the season.

He's rushing it, lately is also the first time he's gotten some real touches down low and chances to try some things out. That and the main problem is the offense goes away from him for a good 2-3 minute stretch at a time, so it's no wonder he rushes when he finally does get it.

Doubt that will happen. Beno was signed to a terrible deal and is playing terribly for a team desperate for a PG to lead them. I can't see ANY team that would use him as their starting PG, and he is paid way too much to be a backup.

That's the problem though, you don't find PG's that are capable of "leading" a team using your MLE. You find solid, spot fillers, that fit with in some type of bigger picture or detailed scheme, think "Jason Williams" and you have an idea. I am pretty sure that's what Petrie envisioned when he re-signed him, and I what I figured all along. He's producing at about the same level on average as he did last year. The turnovers are a killer though, but it isn't just him, it's everyone. That shows a complete lack of understanding on everyones part, not just Beno. Terrible game from him tonight though.

Didn't like the signing when it happened, (pretty sure got in quite a few arguments when it happened)
Let's a take a look around the league of pg's that are better than Beno.
Atlantic Div
R. Rondo, D. Harris, A. Miller, J. Calderon (4/5 better)
C. Duhon (Same production, much better contract)
Central Div.
M. Williams, A. Iverson, D. Rose, T. Ford (4/5 better)
R. Sessions (either way)
Southeast
M. Bibby, R. Felton, G. Arenas (3/5 better)
J. Nelson (I'd say better)
Whoever plays for Miami (Worse)
Southwest
C. Paul, T. Parker, J. Kidd (3/5 better)
R. Alston (playing better this year)
Northwest Div
C. Billups, D. Williams (2/5 Better)
Pacific
B. Davis, S. Nash, M. Ellis (3/4 Better)
Fact is, Beno isn't a top 20 PG, and is barely a top 25 starting PG.
Horrible starter on a horrible contract, horrible move.
