Kings-Nets trade idea

Kings receive:
Vince Carter
Sean Williams
Stromile Swift

Nets receive:
Kevin Martin
Mikki Moore
Kenny Thomas

optional: add Jarvis Hayes and Quincy Douby to the mix.... either way it works out with the cap
Although the Kings give up Martin, we also get rid of Moore, Thomas and Douby and get VC back who finally decided he wants to play really good, along with solid bench guys such as Williams and Swift. Sean Williams is just in a wrong place, but the guy is a very good player, who I believe would be very good for this team. Brings much more talent and much needed EXCITEMENT to this Kings team.

As a Kings fan, I think this is a clear pass.

Vince Carter is not the answer for the Kings.

They are two solid inactive list players -one of them a NBDL player, the other a total bust-, not two solid bench players

It doesn't bring much more talent or EXCITEMENT. And more important, it doesn't make any sense trade Kevin Martin for 32 years old, multiyear big contract Vince Carter. This is a rebuilding team. And Kevin Martin isn't going to be used to dump KT and Moore, when both expires at the right time. We are rebuilding around Martin, the fact he is injured doesn't mean he is available.

Yeah, this isn't really a rebuilding package. This isn't the right direction that we should be heading. Vince Carter is like what? 32 years old? With a longterm term contract. The Kings should not/will not do this trade.
