Ok now i am a Minnesota fan and with the Injury to our PG vet presense Kevin Ollie (who was doing very good btw) is now injured and will be hurt for a while. Which leaves up in Need of a point guard.
So what would you want for us to pry Bobby Jackson from you?
Off Limits
Al
Love
Foye
Post your trade offers right here. And hopefully we can get a trade that most of us could agree on to be decent!

Ok i understand.
I actually have not payed much attention to the Kings this year. So i didnt know Hawes is having a great effect. Which is why i posted it here first before i make a trade thread.
Ok now what could we do to just get jackson maybe?

I can see the Kings waiving Bobby Jackson after the deadline if he isn't traded so he can go to a contender. I don't think the Wolves have much of anything besides the obvious that they would never part with so....
How about Bobby Jackson for Jason Collins and the right to swap 1st round picks?

Kings won't be waiving Jackson.
However, do you want Beno?
Beno for Collins and Mia 1st?
Deal deal?

Jackson is retiring in Sacramento. He has a great relationship with the FO and he might be an asst coach in the near future. Ever since he left Sac the first time, he has been trying to come back and he has built a very nice house here so he's here for the long term.
I dont see Sac and Minn being good trading partners. Only player we would be interested in is Jefferson and that is obviously not happening.

Earlier in the year he said he thought he'd play another year or two and that clearly won't be in Sac if he does. If there is an understanding that he is going to retire this year and both parties agree that he would like to do so as a king then great. If not, let the man go to a contender if we can't trade him to one.

Waiving Bobby would be an atrocious PR move, if nothing else. He's one of the only things that consistently seems to make fans cheer at games.

+1
As for the PG situation in Minnesota, you can have Beno for Cardinal.

I like Reid, but I usually pick cities in the NFL...Phoenix >>>>>>>>>>> Philly in my book. So I'll root for the Cardinals.

They could spin it as the right thing to do for Bobby. Like I said, it depends on his opinion but I certainly think it's a situation that should be discussed between Bobby, his agent, and Geoff Petrie.

No, they couldn't. Spend some time with season ticket holders that still cheer for him like it's the glory days and tell me that.

Of course they could, and they could cheer for 3 months longer than usual too. It's not like it's an unprecedented move in the NBA.

Sure it's not unprecedented in general for any player, but it's different with Bobby. These people need Bobby here to remind them of the glory days, especially when the team is looking as bad as it is. If we were to trade him, I think it would be a bit more forgivable. But just letting him go wouldn't fly. Fans aren't going to actively root for him in the playoffs like that.
