Baaasssicaally O'Bryant has like the same size contract of Brown, who apparently was 'to expensive for us.'

Maybe we took him for Boston to take Noc

We basically pulled another Cassell to help Boston clear up another roster spot...most likely, we are going to waive Booth, who will probably sign with Boston...so it was like a Booth for POB trade, with us getting $$$ again, I bet.

Can't now...POB would have been a part of that, and now they really don't have the players to trade in return.

This IS weird, ESPN is not mentioning this at all.

Deadline's past...

This is a good pickup for you, I've seen POB last season only for one game against the Clippers, but he was playing really well while Biedrins was out with foul trouble, and against Kaman. And he might've improved his defensive fundamentals while practicing with the Celtics. Could be a great backup for Hawes.

Apparently this is not final...and teams that are still negotiating by noon can go over the deadline.

(11:57 a.m.)

The O'Bryant deal may not be going down, as the Globe has changed its post to indicate its not final.

Now as for the Knicks talk, the Kings have been pursuing Nate Robinson and I should know in the next few minutes whether they can land him. While ESPN has reported they were turned down in a deal including Kenny Thomas going to New York for Robinson and Jared Jeffries, I just spoke with someone close to Robinson who said he had received a phone call from Mike D'Antoni, which could be the Knicks coach calling to tell him he'd been traded or perhaps not. We'll see.

Might not happen now, don't know why it would happen regardless. I'm sure it was Petrie helping out Ainge with that roster spot, or Petrie just wanted to have a roster full of lottery big man bust after lottery big man bust, haha.

So basically the only question now is do we get O'Bryant or not...

Saying Robinson got a phone call does not exactly contridict a claim by a legit sourse that the deal is no go...

Seen reports of him going to TOR. Are we trying to take all the Warriors 1st round big men flops?

POB is probably the worst player in the game

PoB's going to Toronto, and any deal with the knicks is no go.

Nice Try though

Will Solomon AND Cash to the Kings?

The Kings did squeeze in one last deal, as a league source tells me they did a three-team deal to Will Solomon and cash from Boston while Toronto gets Patrick O'Bryant and the Celtics get a conditional future second round pick.
