Yeah, nice effort so far. We're doing a solid job of sucking less than the Clips. I thought there were some really poor calls against us at the end of the half.

But surprisingly, we're kind of winning this game with defense right now. But we've gotta cut down on the turnovers and improve the rebounding.

Our defense looks so much better when the other team misses their shots.

You can tell the Clips just don't play well together as a team.

They are making us look like a championships team, and the sad part is that they have 3 more wins than us.

Good. Our bench has been strong, and the Clippers threw in the towel about 3 months ago.

I think if we have a chance to grab griffin we couldn't keep both on the roster, and that Griffin would match better with Hawes. Don't get me wrong, Thompson is a stud. But we absolutely need to address our biggest hole in the draft, which is our PG situation. Jennings, Teague, etc are perfect fits for this team. And we absolutely don't pass on Griffin no matter what, so IMO we are left with the only option of trading JT (but not give him away).

And with Jennings, i think he will be really good. I think he is being trained in something college guys don't get with experience with traveling constantly, and still having to bring your game every night. His numbers are deciving because he is still a boy playing against men. He will be close to Gilbert Arenas when all is said and done with his career IMO.

thanks for the insight! Congrats with the win tonight guys. Coming from a Clippers fan.

Also, any opinions on Greene? Youre stacked with sg/sf's....!

Loot-

Greene could have used 1 more year in college. IMO top 5 pick if he waited until this draft. Hes not ready to play, but he has the makings of a star. I think he is much more advanced as a player than Gerald Wallace was his first year, just doesn't have the agressiveness that Wallace had. He does not have the BBALL IQ to play yet, but he should still get more minutes then he does.

Good luck the rest the season.

He's also not nearly the athlete Gerald was, and generally isn't that comparable. Greene is a very nice athlete, but Gerald is one of the very best athletes of the last decade.

I'd stick by the notion that Donte's ceiling is a more athletic/fluid Rashard Lewis or maybe a poor man's Durant.

I am really starting to think Donte might be a much better PF than a SF, and I'm not sure that's a good thing. He may be a Josh Smith type more than anything, I think I mentioned that around draft time and it's looking like it to me in these brief spurts.

Greene needs to figure out what type of player he wants to be. I disagree and think he is almost as good an athlete G-Wall is, but Wallace shows it non stop. Greene rarely flashes his athleticism, but I think that is the part of his game he needs to fix. He neds to find a game he can display tat athleticism consistantly. Overall I think he may turn into something amazing, but needs to figure out what that is, and isn't getting much help doing that with the lack of playing time.
