Kings must get the W tonight...if only to screw Denver out of clinching the NW Division.

Kenyon Martin is a lil punk. Some one should pop him in the face. Such a waste of ability, and such a dumb person.

DIOGU?
He sucks his whole career until he realizes that the end of his career may be a few games away. he might be earning himself the minimum next year somewhere.

If this was baseball, it would already have been done. Martin is a lil thug and needs to get his knees messed up again. K9 would be my hero forever if he did it.

What. Just happened? Not the loss, just the fact that diagu showed the only bright spot in his nba career thus far. Is there any possibility of him actually being a solid bench player for us? We're going to have money to possibly resign him, he'll be suuuuper cheap and we are going to have a void to fill at the 4/5.
I know we can't base it off of one performance, but 32 points and 11 boards off the bench has to be looked at.

Yeah, he has talent. He just hasn't ever really been able to put it all together. I wouldn't mind looking at re-signing him, particularly considering that we could keep him for, at most the LLE. But more than anything I think his future here depends on what happens in the draft.

The Qualifying Offer is almost $4 Million. Not sure he's worth that after one good game.

Yeah, he's always shown good offensive skill, although he seems to really have been working on his post moves lately, I think the teams he was on just simply didn't need it all that badly hence no time. This was a pretty dominant performance and as close to a King outside of Martin straight up dominating his man repeatedly.
Who needs Griffin when you've got Ike!

Wow, that was one heck of a game from Diogu. It's nice to see him have a bit of a breakout game.

The only way you get to get starters numbers is to play big minutes in the NBA and Ike finally got some big numbers and answered. Ike made the sin in Portland of not being better than Lamarcus Aldridge so he didn't get a lot of minutes because he and LA are both offensive players. Of course he could be a starter or come off the bench. It depends on the growth of our other guys. We definitely need more bench depth so Ike was a good addition. $4 mil for a guy like Ike is not a bad deal with what they would have to pay a vet like Gooden $8 mil with injury history.
We also need to draft big heart at PG to replace BJax.

If we sign Ike a multi-year deal starting at $4 mill, I'm going to jump off a building..

Everyone needs to slow down. IT WAS 1 GAME. Lets atleast see multiple games before we praise this guy and give him a multi-year deal like some people have suggested.

it was just one game, but i think if we waive his rights then another team can sign him for the minimum. he could be ok off the bench for a team, but i dont think he has the defense to make our big man rotation especially if we get griffin. im not sure how his contract would work, but im sure hes at least proved that hes worth a bobby brown contract at 800k a year. I still think hes too small and not athletic enough to earn anything more than that or be consistantly productive.
