You know the season sucks when the last game of the season doesn't have a thread until after the game. I didn't watch it, but going over the box score, one thing stuck out.

Ike Diagu: 28 points and 13 boards...

What?!?!

Anyways, kings win, finish the season at 17-65, the worst record in the league with the guaranteed at least 23rd draft pick because houston lost tonight!

Go Kings!!

I was going to watch it on reserve, but couldn't because my computer (/something involved with it) was being annoying. But it's nice to see us end the season with a win.

What about Ike at the 3?

With our new STUD PG/Martin/Diogu/JT/Hawes lineup. I see fireworks.

Diagu isn't a 3. He would be a superb backup to JT/Hawes (or Griffin/Hawes...) and we're going to need one after this season. 3-wise, I still want Marvin Williams. I think we could package Noc with Thomas and send him to a contender, freeing up tons of money to sign williams.

Wall? Rubio?/Beno
Martin/Garcia
Williams/Greene
Thompson/Diagu
Hawes/2nd rounder?

That lineup could make the playoffs in two years. The only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on something like this would be the lack of a veteran presence. Maybe we could sign a FA center who's won a couple championships just for fun.

Haha, you must be watching a different team, or not paying close enough attention. Jason did play a bit of 3 this year and did a pretty decent job.

No, he struggled, and tried doing more than he could/should. He is an above average ball handling big man, but no small forward. Could you imagine him trying to keep up with Durant, Pierce, Gay, Butler, etc.

40 minutes a game? No, but for short stretches here and there sure. As I talked about earlier in the year as well, it should also be about can Gay, Durant, etc. handle Thompson in the post? Goes both ways, if we go big, post up whoever's got the shrimp on their back.

The defensive liability of him at the SF makes up way more than the small offensive advantage he would have against a smaller player. He is no Shaq. It is not an automatic if he has a smaller player on him. It is an automatic for Durant on offense against him. Same with all the before mentioned players.

Goes both ways, and the advantage on our end comes in the form of foul trouble for the unfortunate mis-matchee.
