Whoa, that came out of Right Field....does he want to buy the Kings to relocate them???

There would be a lot of CSI plugs during the game... I really think this move would be made to attempt to move the team to vegas, but I also doubt the NBA would allow a team in that city. Bruckheimer has shown an interest in buying a team, and sure has the money for it. Maybe he could buy his own damn stadium in Sac.

I would be so unbelievably happy. I hate the maloofs and they are the epitome of poor ownership of a sports franchise (next to cuban). I wouldn't even care if they moved. They would still be the team I love, and they would finally have an opportunity to be a class franchise and not a white trash franchise.

I hope he wouldn't want to move the team. But I really hope the Maloofs can get an arena here in Sac. I would be heart broken if the kings left. Anyone know more about this bruckheimer guy?

Dude you just lost a lot of respect from me with those comments. I am moving to SD, but still would be heartbroken if the Kings left Sac. Its comments like that that make me sick.

Where would he move them in Cali? The whole state is struggling financially right now. The only place with a worse housing market than Cali is Las Vegas where 67% of homes owners are underwater in their mortgages (including the Maloofs properties). I just don't see any move. They would have to be the third team in socal or 2nd team in norcal the same as Al Davis came back crying to Oakland after trying this in the NFL. We need to build a stadium but will not happen until the budget here is straightened out.

A little sensative eh? Well this is all just a business, and I'm not saying that I want the kings to move, but if they do, they will still have a huge following. Just look at the boards. Seriously though, I wouldn't expect bruckheimer or anyone else to move the franchise because of the current economy, so I was just making light of the situation and not really reading into what I was saying. So... now the only question is would he be interested in keeping the team in Sac. If we get the cal expo land, he could probably contribute a lot to an arena. I mean the cost of relocating is 100+ million dollars, that's the relocation fee IIRC. So if he contributed 150 mill to an arena, I think he could get it done. And that would be more profitable for him than moving the team to a floundering Las Vegas market or moving to the 3rd team in SoCal IMO. But I don't trust him because I don't know much about him, and I know the Maloofs have good intentions atleast. But is the guy even a kings fan at the moment, and are the Maloofs even willing to sell? This opens up a whole other can of worms.

Yeah I am a little sensative about this. These are our Kings. These are Sacramento's Kings. If the kings leave, what does the town have? The rivercats? We need the kings, they are the last sports organization making Sacramento a relevant U.S city. Whether I am living in Sac or not, I want the Kings here at home.

If the Kings left Sacramento that would be it. Sac would never have a ship. All those years when we failed would be just a memory and Sacramento would have no hope. Sorry to get dramatic but that would just be a travesty.

If the Kings moved, I would stop watching basketball. There would be just no point for me.

Las Vegas Kings... sounds like crap.

I would say if the Kings left I wouldn't be as big a fan! The main reason I like the Kings is because they are the home team. Can you really say you like this team right now? Heck no! I like my home team.

We'd get another team (may not be NBA) somehow and the Kings would be an afterthought.
