Kings thinking of trading down?
According to the wiretap:
http://basketball.realgm.com/src_wireta ... prospects/
The kings like Griffin and Thabeet as well as Evans. Griffin will be gon eand Thabeet will likely also too, so what do you do if you like Evans? Will you be trading down or reaching on a play that is expected to go in the late mid to late lottery (7-15 by what I've been seeing on mock drafts) at the 4th pick. If you liked him, what would you be looking to get in return for that pick (considering that this is a weak draft class)?

Or Bush Jr. starting his first oil business with a Bin Laden brother. Or Bush's grandfather making his fortune as a Banker for Hitler during WW2. Or Bush Sr. owning an oil field in the middle east and backing the murderous thug named Saddam in the 60's to protect his interests then going then taking our counrty to war when Saddam eventually wanted more for his country.
I think Obama better quit trying to go Maloof Crazy on Petrie.

I hate the idea of trading down. But if the kings cant get rubio i dont know what else to do. I just don't understand taking a center, power forward, or shooting guard. Those are the LAST thing we need. We need a sf or a pg. SO why even discuss these players?

Trading down wasn't mentioned nether was what the Kings wanted. They didn't even talk to Goe or Gavin Maloof.

Can someone explain what I'm missing here. I would say its rubio, or jennings or bust.
Someone tell me why with spencer, thompson, and martin why are we disscusing any other position besides sf and pg in the draft?

well technically everyone is a risk when drafting. But I just dont understand why fans are thinking about drafting anything besides a sf or pg with out first pick we have a young center, a young power forward and set with out best player at sg.

There is nothing in this article to suggest that the Kings are looking to trade down. And, I don't think GP is going to take Obama's "top 3 prospects" into account when making his draft day decisions.

Doesn't Obama have anything better to do than bs about things he doesn't know about? He obviously does not understand our team needs, or the 2009 draft. I just don't understand why it is such news when Obama says something. He has nothing to do with the team, has no more insight than any of us, and has a big mouth. Keep him out of the wire taps, lets let people with real insight give advice, and he can go back to poorly running the country.

I think Jennings has a ton of potential/talent, but will utlimately waste it away like Rasheed Wallace.

I would NOT invest a top 10 pick in Brandon Jennings.
Before you trade down, you have to consider value. The main goal of this draft will be to come away with a franchise point guard, and this a good draft for that. If Rubio is gone, you can consider trading down and then grabbing a Jonny Flynn, Ty Lawson, or Eric Maynor. But you could also hope one of them is there at #23 and go with BPA at #4 to ensure the maximum talent is obtained to move forward with, whether it be a Harden, Hill, DeRozan, or Evans.

Just a general warning and reminder to keep politics out of the thread.

I'd be shocked and awed and surprised if Jennings realized half the career of Rasheed Wallace.

This is my preferred route. You just can't use a top 4 pick on anything less than the BPA.

Re: Kings thinking of trading down?
An idea has been thrown around the Bobcats forum about possibly trading Dj Augustine for #4 if thats Harden.
I would consider Dj a better prospect than the pg's in this draft but we have Felton who we are hoping to hold onto.
Would this interest you's at all? What else would you want in exchange? We would easily give up our 2 second round picks, I dunno about the #12 pick.
