Fegan wants Rubio in Sacramento???

Jason Levien ¿Quién es? Un joven de 38 años, la causa de que Dan Fegan (el agente americano de Ricky Rubio) esté empeñado en que Ricky recale en Sacramento Kings. Levien era un representante de jugadores (Turkoglu, Luol Deng, Kevin Martin, Udonis Haslem) que acabó como Consejero de la franquicia y Adjunto al General Manager Geoff Petrie. Resulta que la cartera de jugadores de NBA de Levien la heredó Dan Fegan. Ahí es donde Fegan quiere a Ricky, bajo el manto de Levien, como piedra angular de esta franquicia. Serán capaces los Kings de ofrecerle el oro y el moro a Memphis o a Oklahoma City Hornets a cambio del genio de El Masnou.

Basically it's saying that fegan wants Rubio in Sacramento because of Jason Levian. Perhaps this is a 'favor' or perhaps he believes he's the most apt at working out Rubio's buyout to a reasonable # so he can jump ship? I dunno.

do they have a history? i mean good relations?
probably since levien did wonders for hedos contract. great job of appointing levien as assistant gm by petrie btw..
so what does this do for us? does this make fegan push the grizz and thunder to making a trade or skipping on his client?

this is just water under the bridge for me. At the end of the day imo, this would have nothing to do with Rubes coming here...but nice find though

when Levian joined the Kings, Fegan took over the majority of his clients. I believe including Martin. So..there's a strong positive history between the two. Jason Levian signing could prove brilliant if it lands us Rubio AND Rubio lives up the 'hype'.
