Draft day is an hour and a half away (giddy-diggidy-goo).
So let the official draft day discussions begin...discussions about the picks, reactions and such.

Thank the light, I didn't know WHERE we'd be actually discussing.
All signs point to Evans. I'd be very happy with him, and I trust Petrie's decision signals that he believes Evans can be a fine PG.
The real questions are who do we get at #23/#31, do we trade up, and where does my old classmate Mills go?

Does this change their mind a little and push Flynn over Evans.

Memphis guard Tyreke Evans, who is believed by many to be the leading candidate for the team's No. 4 pick in the draft that is just hours away, was the driver in a 2007 shooting in which his cousin, 18-year-old Jamar Evans, killed 19-year-old Marcus Reason from the passenger seat of the car.

If it's true, then hell yea that changes their mind. Can't play ball in prison.

Westphal was just on NBATV and he mentioned Young and Blair as possibilities at 23, but wasn't sure they'd be there. In the event they don't get the player they hope will slide they'll go BPA.

Evans wasn't charged, and don't you think the Kings already probably knew about this? I would certainly hope so. It does bother me a little and am certainly less high on Evans as I was. I'd have to hear the whole story though.

Read the article, the police investigated but obviously he wasn't guilty becuase there are no charges against him.

i really really really dont want Evans or Curry. They just dont fit the teams true need and that is a PASSING PG. We need Rubio and if its not him then Flynn, they will just make everyone so much better in the long run. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get Rubio or Flynn.

Prospects at #4:
Rubio -

Won't be upset of course, but will not exactly be jumping for joy either. I was high on him at first but lately he seems to have too many question marks for me. I also feel he may be overhyped.
Evans -

Strong finisher, strong upside, can play both guard positions, and I feel he fits in with what direction I would like the Kings to go. Seems to be ideal for Westphal's system too.
Flynn -

Love the speed and passing, but a little undersized and not sure how well he'd fare in the NBA.
Curry -

Why? Unless we're trading Kevin, he's seems too redundant.
Hardin -

It would be cool to have his saavy. A go-to guy IMO.
Realistically, I don't think I really need to talk about anyone else...

Lol everyone already knows about this... I'm sure teams have been asking him about this. I mean ESPN asked him about it in an interview yesterday.

Whoops, I misread the article about Evans. Clearly nothing new here.
Anyway, I pray to God we get Rubio.

So, will it really take the Clippers 5 full minutes to utter the name "Blake Griffin"?

It gives Blake Griffin 5 mins left of hope that the Clippers won't pick him.
