Marbury

Post#1 » by hbhakta » Sat Jul 4, 2009 7:20 pm

Washington coach Flip Saunders and Marbury, who spent time together in Minnesota, are intrigued about hooking up again. The Kings are believed to be interested in Marbury as well.

I wouldn't trade Beno Udrih for Stephon Marbury, terrible idea.

and this is impossible...we have Evans, Beno, Sergio...why another PG? and even if we get another player to play it, it will not be Stephon freaking Marbury

Over the years, one thing I learned between NY and news.

NY papers are mostly speculative.

I think the only NBA writer with possibly less brains than Peter Vescey is Marc Berman. I seriously doubt that the Kings have any real interest in Marbury.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

"leader" and "Stephon Marbury" don't exactly go together if you catch my drift.

I would take marbury over beno as well, but unless beno is willing to take a $0 severance package, I doubt we even call marbury.

Oh man, if we're talking most idiotic sports writers. Ailene Voison needs to be in the conversation, as well as Sam Smith.

All i can do is laugh at this garbage. Makes no sense for us whatsoever. Petrie would NEVER sign a player like Marbury, especially at this point in his career.

What a joke!

Can you EVER see Geoff Petrie - the ultimate chemistry GM - even THINKING about a cancer like usedtobestarbury?

Please, this isn't even worth acknowledging - other than as a frightening thought!

It's unfortunate that the Maloofs ran off Adelman, because in case you hadn't noticed - he NEVER had the problems with headcases. That was one of the strengths of the Petrie/Adelman combo - Geoff knew that he could give a guy like Ron to Rick and he would get him to buy into the program. He moved him as soon as it was obvious that Musselman and he did not work together.

You know what if we could get rid of BeNO I would rather have Iverson than anyone at the point, why? This team only had 1 PRESEASON game and 0 SEASON games on national TV, we need some recognition around the league, thats why we need a star/fading star on this team... for that reason ONLY (I mean would you rather have beeeeno for his ugly contract or AI for 1yr/5mil?

If this was any other Marbury I would think maybe we could get em. But it's STEPHON Marbury so I'm thinking no on adding him to our roster..
