Bobcats would send back the middle finger. You named all of the reasons for why he is better than nocioni, so why in God's name would they say "well the kings like it, so we should too." Just not a great idea.

I think this is an awful idea. Of course he is better then Nocioni but his contract sucks and even if ti didnt...what does Diaw accomplish for us exactly? Other then winning us a couple of extra meaningless games. BTW i think he is too slow to play the 3 on top of all the other negatives.

i like boris diaw, as a PF.....not a SF.

Yeah, I don't think Diaw is a good fit at SF, PF? Could be. We would certainly be a better run and gun team. I just don't think he's a consistent enough shooter to provide what we need from the 3.

This. Both the Hawks and Suns tried Diaw at SF and he was exposed. He's too slow to guard SFs and offensively he's much better at PF where he has a quickness advantage.

The cats get tougher and save quite a bit of green over the next 3 years. THat' NOTHING to scoff at.

Ya I don't think Char scoffs by any means. I think it's us who says no.

You would want a PF putting up 6 rebounds a game. We might as well trade trade for Eddie Curry he has big scoring and no defense also. Yes the guy can pass but with the amount of firepower we have at the 1,2,4, & 5 we really need a lockdown guy at the 3. Remember Doug Christie played as the 1 def guy with Bibby/Peja/CWebb/Vlade and that was only our greatest team. Somebody has to be good at defense, and Petrie doesn't like that guy to be a 4/5 since they handle the ball in the post and pass. Noc is now a better shooter, but really a post defender only. We need to trade Noc for a better defender but in a choice of a $27mil Diaw and $22mil for Noc I would just keep Noc. And I would much rather spend $4mil a year on Diogu than $9mil on Diaw.

Who is a good defensive 3 in the league that could be had?

Well, the trade boards say differently. Bobcats really like Diaw I guess.

I've posted this in countless forums but here is one more, The Cats aren't interested in cutting salary, if they were they wouldn't have added so much in trades last year.

Also, Diaw shot 42% from 3 last year.

Would rather have Nocioni. I like the toughness he brings and I have never been a big fan of Diaw..
