tyreke on 2k10

Post#1 » by boffacheerios » Sat Sep 19, 2009 6:21 pm

probably not news worthy, but just thought maybe some of you might be interested. i was just on the 2k10 website and was watching the "momentous trailer 1". basically it shows some clips from the best players in the league, or atleast the best players from each team. Got about a 5 second glimpse at tyreke near the end. just wanted to share.

Yeah, I seen it. It was nice to see some Kings love. Even though it was like for 3-5 seconds haha. I'm a 2K person for a while and I can't wait until 2K10 is released. It's going to be awesome. I seen glimpses of the Live demo, it looks pretty decent. But it is not going to be better than 2K10.

I can't wait for 2K10. I'm glad to see they gave Tyreke some justice.

Leaked ratings for 2K10. If you think they're low, go look at some of the other ratings... they're all low. KDurant only got a 82.

Although some of the ratings make me go ehhhh... particularly, a C inside for KMart and a C inside for Tyreke. Whaaa?

Wow Hawes at 64? That is ridiculous.

I guess I'm not familiar enough with the 2k system to know but I know that Hawes should be a 70 in Live, Martin 82-83, Evans 77-78.

I'm thinking they are changing the scale a bit. In the last game you had far too many guys getting up into the 95 range when playing association mode. Maybe they scaled it back a little bit because those seem awfully low.

Holy crud, why the heck is Lawson so freaking high?

Edit: They put Flynn higher too.

I don't know 2K games look too cartoonish for me, the gameplay and graphics (granted players faces look pretty realistic), but it is just too "animated reality" and these ratings are hideous.... along with many other things, NBA Live is better IMO...

This was the year I was going to switch over to 2k because everyone talks about how it's better. These ratings (and the difference in covers) has changed my mind.

Im going going, back back to NBA Live.

The only real thing NBA Live has on 2k is the way their players look WHEN they aren't moving around. But once the players start running around, it looks horrible.

And everyone knows that these ratings don't mean much, because the ratings are going to get altered as the season goes on anyways.

I'm guessing why Lawson and Flynn have higher ratings then Evans is because they are probably more versatile . If you look at it Lawson is a decent scorer, good passer and an adequate defender . Tyreke is probably just a scorer and a decent passer . As Inc said though, these ratings mean nothing .

They are much much more closer than 2Ks. Nice job.

But I think Martin should be in the 85-86 range though. iirc he was a 87-88 last years 2K.
