I always liked Ely for some reason. I would be glad with he was our 2nd-3rd big man off the bench.

I never heard about the Ely signing, but I guess he's going to be our backup 5 unless we make a move. Not a bad roster if you ask me...

Evans/Udrih/Sergio
Martin/Garcia/Evans
Nocioni/Garcia/Greene/Casspi
Thompson/May/Brockman/Greene
Hawes/Thompson/Ely

27 wins

We haven't signed Ely. He was just invited to the camp.

I could see Ely making the team as a security big.

I first saw this on Kings.com and didn't see Davidson on their list, WTF??? That had to be him in that vid, is he in camp or not?

You have to be signed to be in camp. Players not under contract are not allowed to participate in it.

Well, he had Ely on his roster depth chart. In that context, he isn't signed. I should have been more specific though. All new comers are signed to a non-guaranteed contract for training camp.

You try to one up on me huh, Sham?

Ely is a player. I liked him in Charlote and San Antonio then kind of went away in New Orleans but non the less he could a solid back up to JT or Hawes
