Official Kings Preseason Thread

It's time to get the show on the road! I thought it would be a good idea to have the entire preseason in a single thread, since unfortunately, none of the games are being broadcast by the local media, which might limit discussion.

Anyway, first up are the Portland Trailblazers (twice in a row). Portland doesn't seem to be broadcasting either, so it'd be nice if anybody who went to the game would share what they saw, including any Portland fans.

It appears the game will be on Sports 1140 KHTK-AM at least.

OMG khtk is broadcasting the LA Kings/Sharks feed instead of the Blazers/Kings games online!

Not sure if this is of any help, but ESPN is at least updating the scores on their NBA scoreboard page. But no play-by-play info so far.

Yeah, thanks though.

I'm using the yahoo scoreboard one:

I'm listening to it on the radio and it's the Kings, not the Sharks.

Anyway, it was a slow start, but we now we're tied at 17. Thompson is playing well with a throwdown, and Tyreke had a couple of nice plays. May has been mediocre with two quick fouls, but he did score our first FG.

I'm way out of range to hear Sacramento radio (kings) broadcast. That is why I can't hear it from the radio nor online.

I'm just following boxscores for now......

The Kings are currently running an interesting lineup.
Udrih
Evans
Martin
Thompson
Hawes

I think it may be our most talented lineup. Although it's a little undersized. at the 3 spot. Looks great for offense but rather poor for D.

Turnovers are killing us now, and the refs are calling everything.

I live in Tracy and it only plays the Sharks game on 1140 online. If you are out of range they can't compete against the Warriors or Sharks in their territory.

You can see the box score and plays on NBA.com. I am listening to it on my clock radio on 1140.

The Kings look very competitive and are not getting pushed around at all!

I found a audio link (kudos to the guy on KF.com!):

http://www.klamathradio.com/kfls/newlistenlive.htm

If it does not work for the first time (I have to keep trying about 5-7 times to get it to work haha)

I really hope that the lineup that the kings are currently using isn't something that they intend to do very often. Hopefully it's just a preseason thing.

Sergio
garcia
greene
Nocioni
KT

This lineup just looks like a huge mistake. I can't understand the thought processes behind it at all. It's bad on O it's bad on D it's a bad rebounding team. just don't get it at all

It's the kind of lineup that gets you the most balls for that #1 pick baby!!! hahaha.

We're out-rebounding the Blazers 31-24, Brockman is playing pretty well with great hustle, and Evans is having a decent debut. Evans is routinely breaking down the defense, but we're just not hitting shots.

 Shame on you. I dont wanna hear that talk until at least 25 games into the season. Lets all be homers and try and PRETEND that we have a chance at 40 plus wins this year...k?

Well it appears that rebounding is the only thing keeping us in the game...go figure.

Oden is ripping Hawes to shreds...

Brockman makes a good pass to Omri who goes for the throwdown.
