The Hawks are on a second night of a back to back after an impressive win at Portland. The Kings are obviously coming off their first win on Monday vs Memphis. In other news Sam Amick apparently says that Hawes will start.

Starting for the Hawks:

Starting for the Kings:
PG Evans
SG Martin
SF Nocioni
PF Thompson
C Hawes

OT: If anyone else wants to do these game threads feel free. I just don't want it to be like last season where no one did them, because that was depressing.

FWIW, the two forwards are out of order on that shirt. But thanks for starting the thread.

I think this is a winnable game, but it certainly won't be easy. I think we match up all right with them. It should be interesting to see how Spencer does against Horford.

Potential SF change from Mason to Nocioni via Amick's twitter:

Sounds like there could be another change to #nbakings starting lineup tomorrow involving the three spot, with Nocioni taking Mason's spot.

Yea I just found that T-shirt picture randomly on google.

Thanks for the update KF, I will happily edit the lineup. Hopefully the days of Mason at SF are over.

I see Tyreke(if healthy) guarding Joe Johnson with Martin guarding Bibby. Hawes has some height on Horford and Thompson some size on Smoove too. So ILTM for us.

So, any news with Tyreke and his condition? Is he 100%? Thanks :D

Don't think so. Just heard on the rise guys he may be having trouble with his groin in addition to the ankle.

Uh oh. Martin is questionable for tonight's game:

After having the best game of his career in the Kings' home-opening win Monday, shooting guard Kevin Martin is questionable for tonight's game against Atlanta.

Martin missed shoot-a-round with a swollen left (non-shooting) hand and will be a gametime decision. He injured the hand during Monday's game when he landed on it after a fall, and sat out much of the Tuesday practice session icing it. X-Rays were taken but were negative.

If Martin doesn't play, that's not quite the starting lineup change coach Paul Westphal was looking to make. We'll see if this changes things, but I'd been told Spencer Hawes would start at center (pairing with Jason Thompson in the frontcourt) and Andres Nocioni would take over at small forward for Desmond Mason

No way Martin doesn't play. He's making a statement this year. He'll play.

I can't see how it could really be an issue. It's not like he had trouble shooting the other night, and he didn't mention it after the game.

Good to hear about the possible lineup change. I want to see Noc, JT, and Spencer out there together. That's the best combo this team can put on the court, F the foul concerns.

From Amick's pre-game live chats, it seems like Martin will give it a go at tonight's game.

"Curious to see how he looks tonight, as he told me the left wrist is hurting him pretty good and he's not sure he'll be able to catch the ball very easily. "

Glad to see the May and Mason starting experiment come to an end.

Oh and what do you know were up 8-0 to start I mean 7-0.

Martin playing and hitting shots, Evans guarding JJ. We will get off to much better starts with this lineup, it will be interesting to see who is the first big off the bench.

Man, I am so impressed with Martins handles this year I could just pop! He's worked himself into being a really good ball handler. I never thought he'd be where he is today, it's like he just keeps getting better and better.

Can't complain too much. However Reke still has a lot to learn about being a distributor.
