Kevin Martin Trying To Be More Complete

I noticed this in the pre season his passing and rebounding looked better. I am glad he is trying to be more of a leader. I don't know what Jalen Rose is talking about with him not being an All Star potential player. Kevin Martin will be an All Star eventually I can damn near guarantee it. I think it could be this year even. I liked KMart's response though. That was great stuff.
Please only quote 3-4 paragraphs of an article, and post a link to it. I'll let you choose which paragraphs to quote when you post the link. Thanks.

Yeah, it was a very encouraging article indeed. Martin has shown his commitment/effort other than scoring this year. It's awesome to see that.
I like how he was working on his defense over the summer with Thorpe too.

Well Martin has had a lot of steals so far, 9 steals in 4 games. Aside from his zero rebound, zero assist game vs San Antonio, he has racked up around 5 reb and 4 ast in the other games. Currently averaging 31/4/2.8/2.3stl. Such a small sample size though, doesn't really prove anything yet.
If Martin can average close to 2 stls a game this season it would be a big improvement for him in that category.

This was left out from the original article:
Told of Rose's comment, Martin wasn't afraid to have some fun with the quasi-prediction.
"Was Jalen Rose ever an All-Star?" (Answer: no)," Martin said. "You know what Cedric Ceballos said to me in the preseason, is that the difference between a star and a scorer is wins and losses, so that's what I'm doing now. I'm finding ways to win in other (areas)...(Rose) may not have meant anything harmful if he was looking at wins and losses. If that's the case, it doesn't have to be a personal thing because I respect him as a player and don't want to get into that."
A pause and a grin...
"Besides, in my prime and his prime, I'd bust his (butt)," he said with a laugh.

An MRI taken on Kevin Martin’s left wrist revealed a non displaced hairline fracture of the navicular bone. The treatment options are currently being evaluated.
The club will release more information when it becomes available.
