Quickly, I should make a game thread before someone makes a "Maybe we should trade Kevin Martin because we won at Utah" thread...nope, too late.

The Warriors (1-3) dropped their last game on Friday at home to the Clippers, 118-90. The Kings (2-4) come home for the second night of a back to back, after winning on the road in Utah, 104-99.

Starting for the Warriors:
PG Curry
SG Ellis
SF Azubuike
PF Jackson
C Biedrins
(No clue if this lineup is correct, just going off the boxscore of their Friday game)
Edit: Mitch says Biedrins is probable for the game.

Starting for the Kings:
PG Udrih
SG Evans
SF Nocioni
PF Thompson
C Hawes

If that lineup is correct, me thinks we should try going in the post a little.

umm definitely. We have a really nice advantage in the size department (never thought i would say that) and we need to attack early and often.

The last matchup against the Warriors, Evans was pretty much unguardable between all of those small guards they have until Nellie finally decided to put Jackson on Evans. It actually slowed Evans down due to Jackson's defensive abilities. But damage was already done, the Kings won (with the help of Martin's 32 points) 101-94.

It seems so long ago that Mikki Moore was starting for us....

Thank god those days are over.

I predict a defenseless shootout tonight...perhaps with a final score around 243-238.
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

I'll be at this game. Go Warriors.

I liked Mikki Moore as a vocal leader on the Kings. I do go to a lot of Kings games. I do understand why you traded him for Sam Cassell though. It's time for Jason Thompson to shine.

The Warriors are in the same situation with Randolph, but Nellie seems to be toying with this obvious raw talent.

I say this every time these two teams play each other, but Nor-Cal basketball needs to be rejuvenated. Could you imagine how intense a playoff series would be between these 2 teams? It would be insane. Hopefully we see a good basketball game. The Warrior's loss to the Clippers was an embarassing performance. The Kings are also capable to laying dud out there too.

I got a bet on this game, but it was made before Martin went out. Still, I feel confident knowing that our inside will obliterate Moore/Abzibuke. Where is Beadrins? I know Randolph is 'struggling' but no reason to go that small. JT and Hawes are gonna have a strong game.

While I expect Tyreke is play well against two shorter PGs in Curry and Ellis, I also expect him to get a lot of assists. If he goes inside against that big man combo he's gonna find Hawes and JT for easy assists.

Did you see our defense last night? We're going to eat this Warriors team alive.

^^ we have no identity as a team. What ever a team's plan is we fall right in line with it. Meaning if a team is going to try outscore us, then that means we'll try do the same. It's never, if a team tries to outscore us, we try to stop them from scoring.

Anyway, I'm looking for Hawes to have a big game tonight. Along the lines of 24/11/5 asts. I think we'll lose the rebounding matchup tonight and as for the final score 112-105 Kings

Anyone know if Omri is playing tonight or is he still sidelined with his injury?

If this is the starting linup we match up extremely well. JT and Spencer should both have huge games and so should tyreke. But we seem to always play to the level of our competition so i dont see it being a blowout either way.

Biedrins is playing tonight. Looks like we'll just have to stick with going to Jason inside.

I also hope that we don't adjust to them (i.e. go small). We've always done that--even with Rick--and it always annoys me.

He's on my fantasy team, and that's what it says under the player update. It actually says he is "probable" but I don't recall the last time a player listed as "probable" ended up not playing.

Thanks. I was going to play the Over 215.5 if he was out. :banghead:

I hope he plays and that we foul him CONSTANTLY with K9, May, Udoka, S-Rod, Greene so that way his 40% charity stripe shooting can be on FULL display!
