Since all this talk about 2010, I was wondering even if we had the cap room for a max salary ,will a good player want to sign with us ?

Who do you think is a possibility ?

No really big names are a possibility--particularly since we don't have huge cap space. I'd rather look to use the cap space to absorb salary in a trade.

I get the feeling that a place like Sacramento is a "build it, and they will come" destination. It will only take one player and if we are contending people will (and have in the past) buy in.

I really think the small market argument is overrated. How many full fledged superstars have the lakers, clippers, or knicks landed by signing them lately? I mean the lakers got artest and the clippers got b diddy (who may have been a superstar, but isnt playing like one now), and they are great. But neither city market has really attracted superstars as of late.

Sacramento also has nice winters.

Just be patient. Things are coming along nicely on their own and things will come together in their own time.

I'll say one thing - whatever happens will be a complete surprise and not what ANYONE expects.
