I HATE these top 50 BS lists

These kind of lists are such a bunch of BS. They are generally composed of either big market players that the NBA wants to hype/sell (i.e. Bynum), or other guys that htey feel have the flash game to sell TV commercial time. I understand that there are true stars there (Kobe; LeBron; Wade), but I just get chapped at some of the fools that they throw on there. Anyone who thinks that Andrew Bynum is one of the 50 current greatest players in the NBA is smoking a LARGE crack pipe.

Ben Gordon? Nobody in their right mind thinks Gordon is better than Martin. NONE.

I'm not saying Ben Gordon is better, but Gordon can play 82 games.

If that were the case, Martin would be #2 on the list.

So can Matt Bonner....that's a lame argument. Injuries happen.

Every season, and for half the season? And we're comparing players that can put up some numbers, so your example of Bonner was just bad.
I don't agree with much of the list either (Yao is way too high considering he never plays for example), but Gordon puts up decent numbers AND he can play for most of the season, so it's not absolutely criminal for him to be on the list while Martin isn't. That's all I'm saying. If Martin can play a full season, then I would absolutely agree with you.

They have Paul Pierce ahead of Steve Nash. It's just all around BS that I disapprove of.

Michael Redd ahead of Kevin Martin, etc.

I need to visit your guy's thread more often. This is honestly one of the most intelligent threads I've ever seen. Where is the list anyways and what are Charlie Villanueva and Ben Gordon doing on it? Agreed from a non-Sac fan (although I did live there a couple years and it was wonderful) that Kevin Martin is better than Ben Gordon.... Tyreke Evans will make the list eventually though, and he'll deserve to be there. The average all star 2 puts up 20/5/5 and he's basically already doing it as a rookie.
You just need an all-star big and you guys will be set to star making deep playoff runs for a long long time

You're killin' me Smills! I'm sure there's a minimum games played per season requirement for such a list.

The above names (Gordon, Villanueva) can also have company from Redd, Brand, ad nauseaum. This list is nonsensical. you have guys on here that have never carried a team past .500 ball.
The real crack up is that Shaq is still on this list. Talk about no longer being at that level of player! Just pathetic!

That one is really funny as Michael Redd is a poor man's Kevin Martin.

Lol, just going off of fantasy ranking averages. I don't think he's #2, but that list is a joke. Might as well used the Fantasy rankings.
