i came across this article, and im a guy that thinks jennings will happen what happened to marbury and steve francis (the nba campainged against them....everyone in this board knows that this happens)....so i came across this article...fined jennings for a twitter post i thought was not in his character...seems he's got the chemistry down on his team....shouldn't be fined for that post...i see nothing wrong with it

It's now WHAT, rather WHEN. There's a space before, during and after games where players are directed not to "tweet". He broke the rules, he's paying the price. Simple as that.

yeah but the game was over......it's a stupid rule...that's my point....it shouldn't include after the game twittering.....especially if his post was encouraging on team progress....i'm saying the rule should be more leniant...but oh well such is life...

It's not a stupid rule! If Jennings was allowed to make his own media presence then why would the league need TNT? Jennings could basically host his own interviews, which would make the league lose media partners.

I think Jennings is reaping the benefits of entertainment dollars just fine! We will say a $7500 fine to Jennings is the equivalent to a person who makes $50K paying a $175 fine if you look at it as a percentage. He'll be ok.

I just think it's DUMB that you fine a guy for being positive. I understand the rule though.
