Who would you want from the TO Roster
In my opinion, this would be a trade that would satisfie Toronto and Sac.
Turkoglu and Hose Calderon
for
Kevin Martin, Nocioni, and Green
What do you think would be fair?

I'm thinking more along the lines off KMart & Thomas for a S&T Bosh.

From the RAPTORS only interested in BOSH & DeROZEN thats it however i dont see Bosh being that duable considering most seem to feel we would not be able to resign him though it would be possible we would possibly have enough money to do so if we reduced our payroll for next year via a trade or 2 .

I've said this before, any conversation with Toronto about Martin ends unless the name Bosh is included.

Well at least you're being realistic

Toronto instantly ends that conversation unless Evans is included.

Yeah, keep on acting as if Toronto's roster isn't full of crappy role players and aging vets who are paid twice as much as they're worth. He didn't say Martin gets us Bosh; he merely implied that every other player on your team isn't even remotely close value wise.

Who said he was supposed to be realistic? He's not saying Toronto should do that. It's basically another way of saying "we're poor trading partners--at least regarding Kevin."

Derozan+2010 1st rounder+ 2012 1st rounder might do it if you can throw an expiring to make the salaries match

derozan + cap space seems like fair value to me

DD is this years Courtney Lee: young player puts up decent but not that good numbers and suddenly he has loads of value. Just like Lee, though, DD isn't going to land you a borderline all-star like Martin. Especially when DD is a poor fit next to Evans.
BTW, keep in mind the VC trade wasn't based on Lee. It was based on the Nets making cap space to attract Lebron. As well as the fact of age factoring in as well.

Toronto has not one player I'd trade Kevin Martin for, not even Chris "Padding my stats comes first" Bosh.

I would consider DD if he wasn't such a poor fit next to Tyreke. So as of right now, it's extended Bosh, or bust.
So, bust.

Might want to learn how to read between the lines there buddy. From my perspective, any deal with Martin going to Toronto must include somewhere close to equal value coming back. Hedo and Calderon, especially with the way Calderon has played this year, is laughable value. Nobody said the the Raptors would offer Bosh (frankly the Kings wouldn't take him unless he was extended). He is just the only value on Toronto's roster worth even having a conversation involving Martin.

That is crazy though because Bosh is one of the best young Bigs in the L. Bosh is 25 yrs old and the only big that is better then him that is his age or younger is Dwight Howard. Everyone can continue to pretend that Bosh isn't as good as he is but "expects" that get paid to talk and right about basketball know where it is at. Chris Bosh is an elite player and arguable a top 10 player in the L. You don't get a Chris Bosh for a Kevin Martin. You get Jose Calderon & DeMar DeRozan and your happy because you gte equal value.

If I were a GM and you walked into my office with this attitude about a trade, I would slap you silly then have you escorted out of the country.

We're happier keeping Martin.
Any notion the Kings are looking to move Martin is off-base, as they are anticipating his early January return and eager to see what they believe could be one of the league's most explosive backcourts with his coupling with rookie Tyreke Evans.
Aside from a complete breakdown in team chemistry, a regression because of Martin's presence or a trade offer involving an All-Star caliber player (specifically, a big man), Martin is going nowhere.

The thing is, Calderon and DeRozan isn't equal value for Kevin Martin.
With Calderon's lacklaster play this year, his huge contract and age, there is no way we want him. Heck, his playing style isn't ideal with Evans' playing skill set. So, why would we do that?
I like DeRozan but he is nowhere near Martin's value.
The Kings should wait out until Martin gets healthy and explore the beneficiary impact of a Evans/Martin backcourt.

Yea... I'm probably the most pro-trade Martin of anybody here, and I'd rather hold onto him than trade him for any of Toronto's trash.
The more I think I about, I think Martin can be valuable whenever Evans is NOT on the floor. Martin can keep the offense up when Evans is taking a nap on the bench. There, I can see Martin as being really useful. I'm still not entirely convinced that Martin can be the really effective spot shooter many think he is. Yea I know he shoots 40% from the 3pt line, but hovering around there isn't really Martin's game. He's more effective going to the basket, which I don't see as compatible with Evans' game. If he gets injured again, that of course throws everything out the window and we should trade for whatever we can get. We'll see I guess.
