K-MART TRADE THREAD IDEAS !

I want to start off by saying i have mixed emotions on trading K-MART i would also aprreciate it if the MODS kept this up due to the fact there is some actual concrete proof of sorts the KINGS have had at least some talks with teams according to he SAC BEE examples HOUSTON , CLEVLAND & TORONTO to name 3 teams mention .

I just want to get a discussion of actual trades each of us would do & think of ones that would help the team that being right now or for the future meaning next season & on .

I do not know how to provide the links to prove this but if anyone feels its needed post the article from todays SAC BEE sports page

I hope this will be a good discussion

I personally would like at least a young star preferably a Center with a 1st round pick at least or 2 1st rounders with fillers depending on wich team is offering something like that as i prefer the team to have a higher 1st round pick .

According to league sources, the Kings remain on the lookout for a big man to help defend the rim and add frontcourt athleticism. Dalembert remains on the Kings' radar, but it appears nothing has progressed on that front. While the Kings are on track to have approximately $15 million in salary cap room this summer, Sacramento has always been a difficult place to lure top-tier free agents, and the prospect of the Kings opting to make their big move via trade is high.

The latest speculation, however, surrounds injured shooting guard Kevin Martin. Any notion the Kings are looking to move Martin is off-base, as they are anticipating his early January return and eager to see what they believe could be one of the league's most explosive backcourts with his coupling with rookie Tyreke Evans.

Aside from a complete breakdown in team chemistry, a regression because of Martin's presence or a trade offer involving an All-Star caliber player (specifically, a big man), Martin is going nowhere. It said alot of that true however it mentions at least 3 teams furthermore we all know that trading K-MART is very realistic now so it does not hurt anything to have this topic up right now !

Taken from another thread a couple weeks ago, a list of centerpieces I'd consider for Martin from the other 29 teams:

ATL: nothing
BOS: nothing
CHA: nothing
CHI: something centered around Noah (he's probably off the table though)
CLE: nothing
DAL: nothing
DEN: nothing (Nene is off limits; if he wasn't I'd target him)
DET: nothing
GSW: nothing (Randolph's off the table)
HOU: nothing
IND: nothing
LAC: nothing (Gordon's off the table)
LAL: nothing
MEM: possibly something based around Mayo (buy low) because I think he's a near perfect fit in the backcourt next to Evans (shooter, plays defense, can play point)
MIA: nothing
MIL: nothing
MIN: something based around their draft pick pending they still suck at the trade deadline
NJN: same as Minnesota
NOH: nothing
NYK: nothing
OKC: nothing
ORL: nothing
PHI: (only if they're still pretty bad around the deadline) something based around their pick, Speights, and another semi-valuable sweetener (probably either Young or Holiday)

TOR: nothing (because Bosh won't sign an extension here)
UTA: if the Knicks are really bad at the deadline I'd consider something based around that pick

So according to the article the Kings DON'T want to move Martin and he's a part of the plan. It seems like the Kings will try to use Thomas and Nocioni as trade pieces instead of talent.

It also makes your thread now no different than all the other ones so I'm going to lock this one, too.
