fantasy team implications here. how do you think tyreke is gonna mesh with kevin when he gets back? should i expect a increase or decrease in reke's numbers cuz i don't know whether or not kevin is gonna take away tyrekes ballhandling or shot attempts.

Naturally Kevin will get his fair share of shots, but I do not think it will come to a deterament to Tyreke's stats. I think Kevin's return will make Reke more effiecient because defenses will have to play him more honest because they will not want to leave K-Mart open.

I actually look for his number to be similar just with a higher FG% and more assist.

The lane should be a little more open to Tyreke with Kev spreading the floor and even more so when Cisco gets back.

If Tyreke become a more willing passer I would not be surprised to see him averaging around 6-7/game by the end of the year. His draw and kick potential is crazy.

I agree with all of it but the assists will not get past 5 this year. I see Tyreke finishing up with the 20/5/5. I see his assists going up every year but I think 20/5/5 is a elite rookie goal (only MJ, Lebron and Oscar Robinson) over a 20/7.

I'd actually like to think Reke's scoring numbers will go down a bit. We will see. I'd like to see us get more shots for Jason Thompson.

I am huge JT fan but I don't see him getting more touches (near the basket) this year. With Martin coming back Tyreke excels with the drive and kick to the 3 pt line. He is not good yet at driving and getting the ball to a big near him. It will be Beno who gets him more touches this season. Plus they never let JT stay in the paint to keep the man from doubling Evans. JT also has not been attacking the basket enough lately either.

This is their first year together. Evans is 19, JT is 23. These guys will continue to work on weaknesses. and improve. Lebron was a huge ball hog his first year and so was Kobe. Superstars learn through failure and Evans is a superstar.

why ppl compare everytime talking about evans oh lebron and kobe...tyreke is going to be like neither....you are trying to make him fit a mold so that you guys feel more secure in his ability to impact the game as much as lebron and kobe do.....but you don't have to...tyreke will get his on his own terms no need to say oh kobe did this lebron did that......that's too much hype for the kid...let's just wait and see what kind of player he turns out to be without ppl forcing lebron kobe the big o and jordan!!!

i think IC says has truth to it....JT won't get more touches from tyreke, but if he plays the high pick, and evans kicks it to martin and martin can't take the shot JT should see a pass if there is a mismatch...he can put the ball on the floor and penetrate (a la amare) jajajaja I wouldn't also mind tyreke's scoring to go down i dont think that would hurt his chances of winning ROY, and IMHO i really don't care much if he doesn't end up in the same company as jordan lebron and oscar...there, i've said my peace!!!

The ball doesn't move inside enough. We are beating teams on the perimeter fine but I think if we do a better job of scoring in low we will be a better team offensively.

I agree, Thompson and Hawes both have earned the right to see the ball more. It is best for the offense also if the defense has to respect the paint and the perimeter.

To be honest the biggest change I expect see fromour team is an increase of open looks. The spacing on the floor should be better which should give everyone a little more room to work.

My worry is that when Martin and Garcia are both back on the court where there minutes are going to come from. Udrih has been playing very well I wouldn't want to see a drop in his minutes and casspi and Greene have also been great I don't want to take a step back in their development either.

The rotation that I want to see looks like this
Evans 30 /udrih 15/ Sergio 2
martin 33/ udrih 10/ Garcia 5
casspi 20/ Garcia 20/ greene 8
Thompson 25/ Greene13/ nocioni 10
hawes 30/ Thompson 10/ brockman 8

I think the combination should help the efficiency for both of them. I would expect Tyreke's scoring to go down a bit, but his efficiency to go up. I would also expect his assists to possibly go up, although I'm not totally sure about that. Kevin is probably more likely to make his own move off of kickout than others, so he may not help all that much.

Regardless, I don't foresee any huge statistical changes for Tyreke.

Can somebody prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Evans CAN'T coexist with Kmart? With only 5 games under his belt?
If anything, it should HELP Evans' game because people can't just clog the paint with Martin on the wing and Casspi on the other. And both can drive as well, so there's infinate options avaliable. Martin doesn't have to "take shots away" from anybody. Does anybody remember how Martin used to put of 25 points on barely 10 shots? Where do you think all the "efficiency" talk came from? Short-term memory, I guess... And has anybody forgotten how Kmart was basically GIVEN the green light to shoot because he was far and away the most consistent scorer on the team when Bibby and Artest left? If the coach tells you to shoot, what are you gonna do? Martin can be the perfect sidekick to Evans and I think he deserves a chance to prove himself.
