A beast... Probably the most phisically gifted player in the NBA... Incredible size, athleticism and strength... Broad shoulders... Very good attitude... Excellent rebounder and shot blocker... Can bully his way to the basket... Gets more dunks than any other player... Doesn't have a lot of finesse... No mid-range game... Not an awesome offensive player yet... Turnover prone... The most dominant big man in basketball anyway.

The Orlando Magic ended their longest losing streak in nearly three years with an impressive victory over the team right behind them in the Southeast Division race. While the win helped the Magic regain their confidence, they realize it won’t mean much if they follow it up with a loss.

Expect to get abused in the paint. Only chance we have is if their 3pt shooting is off.

Well...I'm at least glad to have Dwight on my fantasy team tonight.

Typically the best way to beat Orlando is to let Dwight get his and to stay out on the shooters. But I don't know. If we play Dwight straight up, he's REALLY going to get his. I think a big key could be having Spencer go right after him and try to get him into foul trouble.

Nice GT Arod.

I'll be at the game in section 121, waiving my thunder sticks. Anyways, I think we need to play Brockman 15-20 mins this game to help with the rebounding...can't let DHoward go crazy on us for 20+ rebs.

Will Hilton be in a uniform tonight?

I just read Ailene Voisin piece in The Bee and she reported Hawes is benched tonight in favor of Brockness monster.

No Hilton is not coming until after this game. But the Magic have lost their last 3 road games and 4 of their last 5 (all loses vs bad teams). Donte is also back tonight, so he will help the bigs (he is avging almost a block a game in over 20 mins).

Even with Howard I think this is another team we match up pretty well with as a team. The Kings have pushed around the Nuggets 2 times already this year. The Kings are NOT a team to be taken lightly.

This is a game we can win. That is why they play the games...

I just wish they'd let Hawes go back at Dwight, for as bad as the night is going to be for Spencer, it could be just as bad for Dwight.

Another this is that I find it odd that he sit while I don't think there is any question whether or not he's outplayed JT on both ends of the floor. I'll go with the "matchup" issues line though. For now....

I guess that's really not too surprising about Spencer. He played well off the bench in the last game. It can be a great role for him if we use his time to try to really get him going offensively. If we do that, he becomes such a great asset to the team. I think this is a good set-up for the team right now.

Assuming we put Brock on Dwight, it would appear we're going to try to give him the Maxiell treatment--get Brock to use his strong base to basically just push Dwight out of position.

JT and Donte already with 2 fouls apiece. This is gonna be a long night! Hawes just came in for JT and has picked one up as well.

Which is a bit wierd, since opposing point guards have done alot of damage to the Magic. Maybe it's a side effect our team's resolve to build on our momentum after the big Hawks win.

Hawes dunk on Howard was nice.

JT had early foul trouble and missed an early jumper then came back in and got no touches in a 5 minute stretch. He had Gortat pinned at least 2 times and nada. Evans finally got him a ball vs Howard and only had room to dribble with his left hand and lost it and another touch in a crowd next to Howard.

How can Tyreke be so awesome getting the ball to the shooters and cutters?

Then suck so bad getting the ball to the bigs. At least we are tied.

As bad as JT is playing right now offensively Howard had 6 rebounds in 17mins, JT had 5 in 10mins, Brockman 4 in 8mins. Howard is an elite rebounder in the NBA and both JT and Brockman are rebounding just as well. And Hawes playing very well plus a dunk on Howard.

How does everyone hate our bigs?

JT tried another left handed dribble vs Howard. JT is really forcing things not going with his strengths. Last year I remember him taking shots off the glass like Duncan, really smoothly. This year I have not seen one all year. He is trying to attack the paint but not to any spot where he can do anything.

He will come around. Hawes did a good job of it.
