Would you like to see Eddy Curry in a Kings uniform?

Considering the Kings' need for a big-man and the Knicks' apparent eagerness to get rid of Eddy Curry, would you want the Kings to trade for him? (assuming of course that a reasonable trade could be struck up)

Curry does nothing to our post defense or rebounding in general. Those are the things that we need to seek if we are acquiring a big man. Curry is the complete opposite.

1) Sean May is undersized (oxymoron, I know). You can't play him really at center.
2) Sean May has never done anything in his career. Nothing. Eddy Curry has proven that he can be a tremendous offensive player, having averaged just under 20 points for an entire season and averaging in the mid-teens throughout his career (13.5 ppg)

The Kings don't need more offense, they desperately need more defense. That's something Eddy Curry has no ability to do.

Eddy curry is very bad. He is also now recieving Knee surgery. We don't have any contracts bad enough to want to trade for Eddy Curry.

Oh and one more thing sl1mshad33, please don't justify your argument by comparing Curry to May. IMO, neither are deserving of a roster spot and nothing practical can ever come from that discussion :lol:

You are mis-understanding our needs. We are not desperate for ANY big man. We need an upgrade over what we have (Hawes/Thompson), including someone who can play D, block/alter shots, and rebound.

Ideally we don't take on a long contract (unless it's a very good upgrade, see: Bosh/Amare). It would make no sense to send youth or expirings for Curry or anyone who isn't an upgrade. We can just stay pat (Hawes is 21 and Thompson 23), and get another shot in the draft (way better options in the draft over Curry) or take a stab at the free agent market this summer (or both).

Unless the Knicks are willing to send 2 future unprotected first round picks with Curry, this is an easy no for Sacramento.
