So, I am a knicks fan, but am also an Israeli and was wondering what Kings' fans opinion of Casspi is thus far. Care to share?

Well casspi has been great so far. He's looking like he'll be much more than a role player but not quite an all star. My best comparison is Keith van Horn. They seem like very similar players too me. Casspi has been fantastic for us though and he's quickly become our starting SF.

I love Casspi. He's in a little slump right now, but I have faith in him. He's better than Rashard Lewis btw.

Ginobli 2.0

Ginobli is a good call, Casspi finishes so well on the break and can shoot the 3. He game also reminds me of Tayshaun Prince because of his size and defense (his FTs will come around as he matures). Fortunately the Kings have a great problem in having Greene and Casspi both who can play many positions and get minutes.

I don't see Manu at all. I see Peja , but with the abilities that Peja lacked.

I see more of a Manu-type player, sliced in with a Peja-Marion jump shot.

Omri is a like a shorter, but more skilled and less wussy version of Peja in my eyes.

very true cause we all know peja just a great shooter off of screens and could not put the ball on the floor to save his ass!!!

Somewhere in between Hedo and Peja. Not as good at handling/playmaking as Hedo, but he has his toughness and size. Not as good a pure shooter as Peja, but way tougher and hardnosed.

From afar he reminds me of a more active Matt Harpring.

His outside shot is coming back to earth. With that given, I tend to look at him as a SF Manu. Very deceptive and unorthodox at times, but effective. Hard-nosed and plays with fire to go with his considerable skills for his age. Seems to have some good passing skills, but doesn't seem to look to pass much when he drives to the hoop.

I love Casspi. He plays his heart out every time he's out there. Dude hustles on every play, and knows if it's fault if he messes up. Weird form, but it's sweet when it goes in.
