GAME THREAD: Kings vs Bobcats (Jan 30; 7pm @ Arco)

Post#1 » by sl1mshad33 » Sat Jan 30, 2010 7:14 pm

I thought I'd have some fun and start a game thread for a change. Admittedly, I am not as good at A-rod at these things (but then again, who is?). I am predicting a big King's upset over the B'cats (110 Kings vs. 90 B'cats).

Taking the fam on the 11.40 ticket deal. It should be entertaining if nothing else.

Why do I get the feeling that it will not be worth the time to watch the Kings? I have a midterm exam on Monday and I should be studying right now but it will be well worth it if the Kings win. But if they lose, FML.

Do you guys ever prolonged something but at the end, the Kings lose and it feels like crap?

If you don't know it by now, stressing yourself out cramming for a couple of hours won't save you. Relax, take a break and watch the game.

KIE is absolutely right, If you don't know it by now Cramming only raises the potential for Failure because you can't recreate the feeling of cramming while taking a test. It's all about the neural pathways and making the right connections, if you study while being stressed out then during the test you will need to be stressed or you will struggle to remember material that you learned while being so stressed. If instead you slowly study while in a relaxed mood you should be much more capable of recalling the information during the test.

It seems like our scrappy play and effort is coming back again. Nice.

Loving this game on both ends of the court! Everyone in purple is playing very entergentic, team basketball. Did anyone see that pass by Tyreke and crazy finish by Greene? IThat was one of the most impressive passes I've seen of his this year. And people don't think hecan be a PG...

I like it so far. They look like they did in December. They need to keep it going though. No lead is big enough for this team.

I can't help but think that Westphal is being out coached right now. They went small because Hawes and JT were killing them inside, and then he matches up with their small ball. Uh, I hope I'm wrong but their small ball >>> ours.

^^It's never a good idea to go small ball because the other team is forcing it. If you have a great small ball lineup your team should push that but otherwise stick to the plan that was working.
