Until I have reason to believe otherwise, I'm gonna say Kings lose.
PS good GT as always.

Get your shots in while you can, because you'll be bowing down to my superior basketball knowledge before too long!
And playing okay against Raptors ain't no thang, considering how awful on defense they are.

Spencer's rebounding is beyond average. The fact that our starting center can't even grab seven boards a game.

I'm debating on whether or not I should go to this game.

I want to go but I'm thinking that it'll be more trouble than it's worth. Finding parking near MSG is a bitch and I get out of class an hour before the game.

Well, definitely a winnable game. And it sure would be nice to get that 17th win before the all-star break. It's certainly not where we thought we'd be a while ago, but it would give a reason to go into the break on a positive note.

Mitch this is so not a winnable game. Knicks are a better team right about now imho. I got a source saying to me that this is the "mark game" If we lose this game you can expect a move to go down (as for the move...I don't know).
Spurs Boston and Kings need to get together and work something out

Since I am going to this game tonight, they better win... other than that I hope Tyreke Evans has a triple-double...

We might lose this one, so brace yourselves

If this is a "make game" for us I question who's been watching, OR someone else has been more patient than me with some of our players. I just don't get why now?

I dnt have the slightest idea bro. But, I'll say this much it makes sense to me really. We are currently in 5th spot in terms of the draft. If we make a deal for expirings and maybe an additional pick we'd be sitting good. I've been saying this for a minute now, having multiple picks in this draft would be MONEY imo.
Scenario: We lose the "mark game" and get a deal done with Utah and Philly, where we end up with Dalembert, Holiday Brewer and Knicks pick (for w/e package we send surrounding KT Martin and Noc). We remain 5th in the lotto and end up with the 3rd pick and the knicks pick land us the 5th pick.
We'd look like this going into the draft
Hawes/Dally
JT/#5/Brockman
Brewer/Casspi/Donte
Cisco/#3
Evans/Beno/Holiday
We'd be looking good imo.

Just for the record I was the only one who saw value in the Knicks pick (via Utah)

Obviously you missed the joke.
What i was trying say is, Some people will believe anything so long as it supports what they already believe. Instead of altering their views to fit the facts, they alter the facts to fit their agenda.
I'm sorry if I offended you....

Yeah no way the knicks are better team than us, they been playing Eastern Conference a weaker competition. And they have better much much much better coach. That is why they have better record.
I respectfully think that we have passed the Knicks talent wise...

Check out the Double-double list sometime. Thompson trails Amare by 2, BLopez and EOkafor by 6.
JT has more 10 rebound games or 20pt games than Hawes or Greene.
This is all after struggling a month. He did struggle offensively but continued to do everything else. If Westphal doesn't cut his minutes by nearly 10 Thompson likely would have had 3-4 more double-doubles in the last month. Not to mention he was on pace for one last game but only got 22mins even when shooting 4 of 7.
Good lookin out COACH WESTPHAL!! Way to help out a young big man trying to build confidence.
Why are Kings fans not furious with Westphal?
When Thompson played 34 minutes the Kings were 14-17. Since Westphal has Thompson playing only 24 mins the Kings are 2-17. Yes the schedule was tougher but they could have at least won 33% of the games.
Why are Kings fans not furious with Westphal?
Not playing your number one young big man is like this team sitting Tyreke in crunchtime if he was missing shots. Even if they struggle offensively complete players can make defensive plays. Leaders are just too valuable to sit.

I think everyone saw the value in that pick. In fact, most people are probably surprise at how
bad the pick is going to be.

Knicks are currently 8th in the lottery. If form holds they could not have the 5th pick. It is, however, possible that the Knicks pick results in the 3rd pick and the Kings' pick remains #5.

I hope Donte Greene has a triple-double.

Game is too early for me to catch unless I sneak out of the office early. Hmmm...that sounds like an idea...
