don't know what this actually does for us, its another wing player who plays point, which we are already stacked on. I guess he brings toughness on the defensive end, i see him playing very limited minutes, close to none, maybe sergio's old role.

If you ask me this is a really stupid signing. Why couldn't he just get a 7'0 shot blocker from the D-League?

Because at this point we really need a 3rd pg. Playing Evans and udrih together make it difficult to run the offense with the 2nd unit without playing udrih too much. We need him to be fresh when he's on the court to maximize his effctiveness. Getting a guy to play 5-10min a nght would be a great help. Plus it's a ten day contract no risk involved.

I think the Rockets wanted to see how well he plays for the kings, if he plays well for us Morey wants to sign him.
