Beautiful thread.
Kings better come out hungry tonight. They looked like crap against Portland, hopefully Reke will tear it up.
98-90 Kings.

Bleh, looks like another game we'll win. With 6 teams in the league having 21-23 wins (and the Clips at 25) a couple of extra wins down the stretch could easily push the Kings from the 4th or 5th selection all the way down to the 10th. That would be an outright DISASTER.

If Hawes doesn't have more than 10/5 against Darko, he should be benched for the rest of the season.

The Frazier quote is very funny.

Darko's defense is surprisingly good. It's his offense that isn't so great.

Darko can also pass better and block shots. Darko > Hawes.

Darko is the Ryan Leaf of the NBA. The guy really has considerable talent. But man, some psychological tests before the draft sure could have helped Detroit. That guy is f***ed up.
Anyway, defensively, the strategy should mostly be pretty simple--crash the paint. Make Flynn and Brewer outside shooters--even Gomes. He can make mid-range shots, but if that's what our defense allows, I think we should be in decent shape.

Tyreke Evans with B2B triple double? Pretty please? With a cherry on top?

So are we just pretending that the Portland game didn't happen?

here's to them actually showing up tonight after I wasted my money on them on Friday. I don't mind a loss one bit as long as they actually try.... Something that definitely lacked in that game vs potland. And hopefully tyreke scores 20+ tonight so I can get his ppg up. Really want him to get that 20/5/5

Right now Evans is averaging 20.1 pts, 5 reb, 5.5 ast.
So I hope he gets at least 6 rebounds and anything over 20 points. I also want Donte to play well.

Sluggish start. The guys look like they were coming in expecting to win.

The announcers were talking about Tyreke's 3pt shooting and How big the difference for him when he takes a set 3pt shot vs when he takes a jumper I think that there is a lot of truth to that. His motion on his jumper is a little jerky but when he spots up and gets that slow roll type three that he takes it's very fluid and is significantly more accurate.

Good job Kings. Give him all the time in the world to line up that shot.
