Yeah he looks like more of a small ball center defensively than a full time small forward defensively.

I can’t believe Sac traded out of 37 for two future seconds with EJ on the board. EJ fits with Sabonis and Murray. I would have taken him as high as 15.

why do people so often forget that there's a position in between SF and C?

It's called a PF!

All the time I see people say "undersized big, not mobile enough to play wing" um, that's because he's a 4.

Many of the league's best players are 4's. Durant, Collins, Siakam, Giannis, AD, Aaron Gordon, Miles Bridges, Julius Randle, etc.

Liddell is a 4, who can play some small ball 5

Durant played SG his rookie season and Giannis played PG and SG his third season. Your list is terrible because it turns a blind eye to history, skill, and mobility. With that said, people are stuck trying to communicate with one another using a limited set of terms to describe duties and abilities in an ever changing game. Basketball lingo is more limited than football lingo. You don't just have defensive linemen in football anymore, people can be called by their specific responsibilities and/or how they can best be utilized. That is what we are trying to do here. Power forward isn't specific enough.

I've been looking at the heights of the past 5 drafts for pfs and Liddell came in next to dead last out of 40-50 prospects at 6-5.5 w/o shoes. The shortest guy was David Roddy with a full inch below EJ.

I'm going to keep my eye on both of these guys. I guess Roddy had the difference in intangibles Memphis was looking for.

I thought he reminded me of Maxi Kleber and had him 18, 19 or 20
