The Nets have picks 21 and 22 in this draft. How big of a talent difference is the pool of players in that range compared to say 10-14 in this draft?

In every draft there is a big difference between 10 and 20, but not as big as between top 3/4 and 6-10 obviously.

Just curious if you combined the Top 3 from this draft class (Wembanyama, Scoot, Miller) along with the two previous drafts Top 3 (Banchero, Chet, Jabari) and (Cade, Green, Mobley) what would be your Top 9 Big Board?

I'm going to try to not let the bias for players we've seen in the league affect this

Wemby
Banchero
Green
Cade
Scoot
Mobley
Chet
Miller
Jabari
Robert Horry is better than MJ, because everybody knows that 7>6.

Evan Mobley
Scoot Henderson
Brandon Miller
Jabari Smith, Jr.

I'm starting to get 'Desmond Bane' vibes around this kid. Reminds me of a young Allan Houston.

By most accounts, above average. Quick feet, solid size and the effort you'd expect from a 4 year collegiate and team captain. The question is, can that defense hold up against elite NBA athleticism?

He was 1st team all defense in his conference.

Really not sure there's much that separates him from Hawkins who is a lottery pick.

I tend to think the Jazz would rather take a center that would play 12 mins a game at the most than the next Desmond Bane at #28….

If I was running an NBA franchise, I’m not taking an athletic guard over a wing in today’s league.

No team in NBA history has won a title being led by an athletic scoring guard. And we’ve seen some really good ones like Wall, Westbrook & Rose.

The fact that Scoot can’t shoot makes the choice even easier to pick Miller.

It’s really weird how ppl who have watched the league for years are still shortsighted when it comes to guys of Scoot’s archetype.

It is not always about titles. Most players do not lead their teams to titles. It is usually concentrated around 3-5 players every decade.
