There are levels to being a good and bad shooter. I promise trying to judge a player on only 3pt% is a really flawed process.
What's your point?
None of those guys have proven to be a good NBA shooter yet.
My point is you just want to judge a guy based on his 3pt % and ignore other telling statistics. I will be sure to tag you after his rookie year when he is a better shooter than both of these guys.
And what if they're all shooting poorly? None of them are good shooting prospects.
At least Scoot had 2 years under his belt shooting from the NBA 3 pt line (deeper than international line or college line) and at least Castle has more size and far better defense than the others..
And who cares how they play as rookies? You gotta give these guys at least 3 (if not more) years in the league before drawing any meaningful conclusions about how they've turned out. Plus, there's so many external factors that could impact things, beyond their control. Like maybe 1 of them gets injured and that slows their shooting development. Or maybe one of them goes to a team that has a really good shooting coach but the others do not..
