CDR==cross between Richard Hamilton and Tayshaun Prince

Post#1 » by BRIGGS » Sun Feb 17, 2008 1:44 pm

He is a big time player who truly has CARRIED Memphis at times--he reminds me a lot of Richard Hamilton in 1999. About the same size with many similar attributes. Rose might get the most hype on the team but clearly CDR is the best player. He has good size for the two guard and the guy shows he has IT in big games. A little more concentration and off season work ethic put this man in the lottery along with IMHO Billy Walker from Kansas State.

I'd to see him be a little less one dimensional for a guy his size. Also he looks like he should have a better body mass than he does which makes me wonder how much time he is putting in the Gym. Even skinny guys like Rip were better toned.

I see him staying another year. His stock will shoot up when he is the main focus next year without Rose stealing the spotlight.

^I disagree with that. No matter what happens from hear on out I think its in his best interest to come out this year. No way his stock is going to be higher. If you play like a pure 2 guard and you have a chance to be drafted first round you go.

He's defiantly going to be a quality NBA player.

Probably just slips out of the lotter, but is a guy that can contribute in his first year depending on where he's taken. Definitely could see him as a guy who plays better than a lot of guys put ahead of him.

Also, no one gets/looks better by losing a play maker like Rose.

he has said he's grown from 6'5 when he first entered college as freshmen to now 6'7, which is always good thing for his draft stock. i agree i can see him being overlooked, but making other teams pay for passing on him.

Count me in on the bandwagon. I forgot about him in the underrated thread. I saw him earlier this year against G-town - when he opened my eyes, to say the least. Dude can flat out score - in so many ways. And he's got great size - bigger than listed - and big enough to play the 3, imo. Great scorer on the break and great in half court and great range. This guy is really good, imo. I'm gonna call him a poor man's Paul Pierce.
