^ I agree I think the mods might to be more vigilant about making Briggs post links.

I think know just a tad more than you about what is happening at Uconn and I will leave it at that.

If I know something that is not public--what type of link do I use?

Sure you do. That's why he didn't have a press conference like you said, and he decided to stay in school, like we reported last week (as opposed to what you just said a few posts up).

The first thing I did when I saw your post was call someone at UConn. They were all caught off guard. We quickly got word from the SID that there is NO press conference scheduled.

He ended up releasing a statement through the school.

Great work Briggs! You're definitely on top of things at UConn!

and oh yeah, I guess Thabeet won't end up being the #1 pick like you predicted after all? That was almost as ridiculous as Chad Ford saying that John Reik could go top 10 or Jeff Goodman saying he could go #1.

I don't think I need to say anything--you can believe what you believe chief. This had to do with education and finishing his degree.

JonG, let me preface this by saying I don't believe Thabeet will be #1 next year. But your own site has Thabeet as #6 in 2009. The possibility of someone moving up from #6 to #1 a whole year prior to the draft is hardly ridiculous.
