I don't really get the knock of the player..He's big, good shot..I know hes a bit inconsistent but consistency in college is pretty hard to come by. He rebounds well, and if he works on his penetration he should be a 18ppg scorer easily. Maybe im crazy

Rush just doesn't have the scoring ability to average 18 ppg IMO. I think he'll be a real good player and good value late in the 1st, but I see him as a Raja Bell type player who plays really good defense and knocks down open shots. I don't think he's the type who will be able to create for himself and be a big time scorer however.

Late first, early 2nd. He would fit in real nice with Seattle.

As a Sonic fan I sure hope he does get drafted by them. Also I think Weaver is a safe pick outside of the lottery.

The key to a safe pick is college experience, and at least one advanced skill.
If a guy is 22 and has played 3-4 years Div1 ball, you have a much better sense of who he is than a 19yr old raw super-athletic dude from Cameroon.
If that guy also has at least one advanced skill (nice hook shot, good offense rebounder, defensive stance and footwork, etc.) then you basically know he can at least play a role.
