Do You Really Think SEA/MIA Will Get The #1 pick...

Post#1 » by GSWfAnViNnY » Sun May 11, 2008 6:54 am

remember last year when the mock drafts had MEM/BOS as the #1 pic before the lottery...then POR/SEA got the top two picks. I bet the same thing will happen this year. What do you think ?

I'm pretty positive that the Celtics and Lakers will get the top two picks.

Its supposed to be random, so I don't know what this thread does? Your gut says the two worse teams crap out in the lottery? Ok.

Let's be serious for a minute...we all know the Knicks will end up with the 2nd overall pick (1st would be tooooo obvious) and be welcoming one of these two guys as the face of the franchise next season to go with D'Antoni and Walsh.

And no way the Seattle Sonics are getting anywhere near #1 or #2 with how they're standing up to that ahole, Stern.

I think Seattle is going to get screwed in the lotto.

No need to punish the Heat beacue they are so marketable.

I say Heat get Beasley, Knicks get Rose.

Both perfect fits. Both help out the East

There's less than a 45% chance that either franchise gets the #1 pick, so no, I don't expect either of them to.

You doubt the power of Stern?

First off the prediction that guy made is ridiculous. Knicks have like a 5% chance at #1 and like a 10% chance at #2. Stern isn't rigging anything. If that was the case, Knicks would have had LeBron by now. I say Knicks stay at 5.

Second, why would it piss you off? Knicks are a disgrace. They are the only team in the NBA where you say they desperately need a top 2 pick. Even if you hate the Knicks you can't dispute that.

I have the opposite view, Stern wants to set up his buddy clay clay for years.

i smell an upset this year, like MN or Memphis winning.

for sure i see NYK coming out of there with one of the top 3 picks.

Every time the Knicks have a lottery pick people predict they will get a top 3 pick. The Knicks haven't had a top 3 pick in 23 years and that isn't changing now.

I think the Clippers have a very good future if they can get one of the top 2 picks, so I'm going to predict the Clippers and Knicks get 1 and 2.

There's really no need to ask this question as one cant really answer it... think about it in terms of probability... if you want to go really deep into statistics... then you can actually figure out the worst picks Heat, Memphis, Clippers, Ny, etc. will end up with... Personally i dont think the heat will get worse than the 4th overall pick.
