Thats a terrible comparison. Budinger isn't black at all. I'd say he more like a Miller or Korver.

Budinger=Brent Barry in his early days

I thought Collison was a similar talent to Rondo @ the start of the season but he didn't do anything to even come close to my original thoughts. Collison seems like a Speedy Claxton w/ a better shot

Hi there CBQ, nice to hear from you! I'm still reading you and others in the ballclub board; taking a break from writing there because the over-emotional, reactionary and cranky mood after the injuries became too excessive for my liking.

Collison will be a really good backup, and every once in awhile we'll hear the "could start for lots of teams" refrain, then he'll get a chance to start, and be too slight to carry it off. I like him though, and I'd love to have him as a backup PG. He'd be a terror against most second stringers, or against a tired starter.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

I think Budinger will end up being a top 10 player out of this draft, but not a top 10 pick b/c GMs tend to go for younger players nowadays. But he's going to be an average starter/good bench player caliber in this league. He does have his limitations, but he's pretty atheltic, although more jumping ability then quickness, can shoot, move without the ball, and plays unselfishly. He's not a one on one iso player, but in terms of offense, he can play a similar role as a Shane Battier or Anthony Parker, but a bit more dynamic.

Defensively, he may actually do better in the NBA guarding bigger guys, rather than quicker SG's playing the 3 spot in college. As long as he's not a total sieve when playing defense, it shouldn't be a huge detriment to him.
