There has been talk of them possibly liking Bane, but I can’t see them passing on Cole Anthony if he’s still here. Plus this is probably a good place for him, where he can learn behind some good guards. Also think RJ Hampton is a strong option here.

Even though Marks typically goes BPA, I think they prioritize athleticism & physicality. If the Nets move Dinwiddie or LeVert for a wing or forward, then I can see them going PG or combo guard like Hampton or Anthony. Given the current depth and salary implications, I could also see them selecting a stashable player.

Given the board, I'd say Carey, Green, Bey, Maledon, McDaniels, Hampton, Anthony and Pokusevski would be considered.

I think Green fits the Marks mold perfectly, but I could see him go for Carey, because he provides a skillset we don't yet have.

Josh Green plays good on ball defense, can hit the three, and doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective. He also knows his role. He would fill the role the Nets are currently lacking perfectly.
The upside of Poku is tempting but they are in win now mode.

I think Brooklyn will try to move this pick in a bigger deal. If they stay at #19, I'd expect them to pick someone who is ready to contribute and who complements KD/Kyrie.

I would say a defensive wing like Green or Bey here. However, Cole Anthony or RJ Hampton might just be too valuable to pass up.

They've already got a 6'11" versatile project in Nic Claxton, which makes me think Pokusevski is a lesser priority.

Poku...Nets need to swing for the fences if they keep this pick.

I picked Bane and Hampton. I think we are high on Desmond, especially since it looks like Nesmith is rising on draft boards. He could fight for an immediate rotation role, and has the work ethic to expand his game.

RJ is much less about immediate contribution, although he has some skills that will translate from day one. More than that, it's about swinging big for the long-term. We have enough vets to fill a rotation, but in 2 seasons, Hampton could be the best player in this draft under the right tutelage. With Nash as the coach and Ky and Spencer on the roster, there's no better time than now to invest in a developmental PG. He can learn from the best, and could be a draft steal down the road.

I think Brooklyn is set everywhere except backup combo forward.

I'm giving them Reed or T.Bey.
