Allen Flanigan

Maybe the MIP in college year over year. Bruce Pearl seems to love thick dudes like this. If his shooting improvement is real, looking at a potential first or early second round pick.

he's better this year for sure but honestly nothing really jumps off the page for me at this point when it comes to any translatable skill to the NBA, he's wing size-ish and can hit an open 3 and isn't a total negative defensively so I guess that's worth something in today's NBA but not sure there is anything else there to say 1st rounder.

You just described a bunch of guys who end up first round picks.

we've also seen players like him go in the 2nd, like Nwora last year, who was bigger and a bette 3pt shooter, too.

not saying he won't go 1st, you never know who'll fall in love with him, but I don't see anything special there that says I need to be taking this guy in the 1st tbh.

I said potential first or early second. And that’s exactly what it is. Good to see you agree.

if you're saying some team might take him that high sure I agree I guess, but if you're saying he's a 1st round talent then i disagree. these are 2 different things.

Potentially a first round talent.

still a one-read player at this point but I actually like some of the shot making ability I've seen the last few games, handle needs to tighten tho and his passing is sub but I can see potential for a first for the right team in the bottom 3rd
