I'm sure there was a legit issue with Maker and Biyombo, but for the others you mentioned - even if there was - I don't think it made any difference. I doubt there was with Ilyasova, because I remember him trying to make the Bucks roster the first time, and he looked like a teenager when he was listed at 19 - he was a lot more filled out when he came back 3 years later - looked like a different guy.

Ilyasova is born in 84' not 87 and he is from Uzbekistan originally, not Turkey, his real name is Arsen Ilyasov

You can search the rest, but it's pretty well documented, better than Maker's story actually

It def made a difference with Ibaka when his physical prime basically ended when he was supposed to be 26-27 (he is older like I said), instead of at 28-30

I meant that it didn't make a difference as to where they were drafted. Ibaka was just the 24th pick. He was underdrafted.

Please show me a link that says Ilyasova was born in 84. Edit - never mind, I see there was controversy about it, but FIBA didn't buy it.

Green's shooting continues to get exponentially better every game, the shot scalability for him is ridiculous...26 piece tonight so far, 6-8 from 3

That's turning into a go to shot for him. Not many in this class loaded as is can say they have one.

Todd hit another one of those from the left block the other day, his shot making is ridiculous for being 6-10

I’m cautiously optimistic about his shooting. Solid FT% (small sample), that form just has me hesitant. There just seems to be so much going on with it.

Looks funky up top but his base consistency is the more cautious point for me. He isn't always set and the results in how the makes and misses land showcase the importance of that. You see some really bad misses when he isn't quite set but a balanced Jalen is so much smoother and more accurate. I know that's basic stuff but it's glaring with him. That being said I think it gets exponentially better to the point it's not an issue. Kids a worker, we've seen improvement in all aspects for the past two years. He wants it. He'll fix whatever he needs to.

im having a hard time thinking of a player that has had as good of a handle/first step as Green at his size, it's absurd. maybe Russ?

Handle? Quite a few. First step? Not many that I’ve seen. His first step is incredible.

Green's handles are subpar, sure his burst is ridiculous and it covers for a lot, but come on now, handles are a weakness

Yeah its that burst when he creates the space, the way he hits the rim so powerful is a bit Westbrook like

For future iterations they really need to focus on filling out the team with shooters. By and large, teenagers just aren't ready to be consistent threats from NBA range and they basically go into every game down 20+ points off the three-point battle.

Aren't we reaching on this comp a bit? Hill's got a nasty crossover from what I can remember. Green's handle is shaky outside of the go-to moves that he's got.
