53.8% from 2 point range and 44.4% from 3 but he can't shoot?

No need to be disingenuous. He shot a total of 18 (!) 3's, that sample size is nothing. His 2P% also means nothing when people are talking about shooting. Johnson shot 31.8% on 2pt jump shots (small sample). 63.2% on FTs. He's just not a solid shooter.

lol I do not like him in the lottery maybe 13 or 14 on a flier if he kills it during the pre-draft meet and greet or sells himself but I am guess no amount of excuses will make up for his irresponsible history. He does have a nice shooting touch and clearly has a decent all around game but yeah his numbers in college were way to small to form any opinion off just that time for or against.
He is overrated still by some of the highlight hitters but most know he is not going to be drafted that high even if he does turn out to be a solid player

Jalen Johnson is top 10 easy - IF - a team gets comfortable with the mentality questions. I'd bet he's top 8.

Its not about highlights, its about skillset. He was top 15 out of HS for a reason, and big athletic wings (THE premium position in the NBA) rise in the draft.

Yeah, and he's only 19 years old. If maturity is the only red flag with him, well guess what, there's a damn good chance he will grow up and mature over the next couple years. If he was 22 with maturity questions I'd be more concerned. But people grow up and mature a lot between age 19 to 22.

Johnson has things (strong frame, speed - especially in the open court, defensive versatility, overall skill set and athleticism for a kid who's 6'9" at the ripe age of 19) that you can't teach.

The interview process will dictate his draft spot imo how well he does in the league is up to him and his track record of lack of interest is not a good sign he will be more than a player who is just a guy

It's not like he had Nassir Little or Kelly Oubre college career. He was the leading scorer on his team as freshmen (With decent efficiency) and took them to the tourney. He was productive and big. Big productive players are usually pretty good in the NBA.

and he choked big time with terrible efficiency against Oral Roberts and then Baylor proving my point about lacking the alpha gene to take over a game when it matters. He is not that special

Moses is a day one 3&D guy with potential to be more with development. shouldn't be drafted for anything more than a plug in role player. If you're drafting him to be THE piece and not A piece you're doing it wrong.

after what he did to Moses Moody's name, I got DJ K. Perk in a Verzuz battle against ANYBODY
