Stanley is okay. Projects to be maybe slightly above, in my eyes. Statistically, he isn't shining anywhere. Not great on d-boards or stocks.

Thoughts on Josh Green? He's arguably been the prospect with the best motor among highly-recruited players that I've seen in a while.

Why do you say so? What are we not seeing?

Sorry to burge in, but wanted to add I kind of agree here on T. Bey. I started following him closer at the start of the season, and by the end of it my enthusiasm fell down to a poinz where I think he could end up a early 2nd rather than mis to late 1st pick.
His defensive numbers look really good, and he'll likely be a good defender on NBA level, but not sure he'll ever be a lockdown guy that they might suggest. On one hand he is playing as big man, not guarding perimeter as much, so it is hard to say how he'd fare against top NBA wings.
He is also an older (22.5) prospect, and is just athletically overwhelming - difference is going to be a lot less in NBA.
And that's true on offense too - he is more of a power finisher without real finess and his handling is limited even on college scale. His shooting is looking more like a mirage than a real thing - sure, percentages are looking good but it is on such a small sample size, and given fact that he never hit two 3s in a single game (look at the game logs, it's mostly 0/1, 1/1 or 1/2 - if he attempted more shots, those are all misses) - and those are almost exclusively wide open looks.
He has a great energy and motor, is really athletic and a great rebounder and that likely translates. He will likely be a good defender, but not a great one. So I see him more as an energy forward / big off the bench, in a smaller role (4th guy in a big men rotation)

Yeah but the thread doesn't say wing defender (although you can't be the best unless you guard 3 positions these days), it said defender. And it also never asked the players total ceiling. In other words Bey doesn't have to be even a decent offensive player to win this award for me.
But I hope thats not the case. I don't know that he'll be specifically the best wing defender, or big defender or guard defender but he has the greatest ability in this draft to guard all three very effectively. He covers space and moves his feet very well on defense, long arms and great timing. I think hes more of a 2/3/4 defender while someone like Vassell is more like a 2/3 exclusively.
We're not talking about better overall player here at which point I'd choose Vassell for his offense. Vassel could go anywhere from 9-14 while Bey is 24-30. I just took small offense to OVERATED. I think everything has been taken account for just right and he is perfectly rated.
