You take BPA here which is Barnes. He could compliment SGA and Poku nicely. Then ideally OKC takes a PG and a C with their other 2 1st round picks (perhaps Springer & Kai).

Re: RealGM Consensus Mock - #6 Oklahoma City
i think most likely a front court player here for OKC, even tho they took Poku/Bazley the last 2 years, they have SGA/Dort/Theo in the back court already...so I think this has to be either Barnes or Alpy...although if this was me I'd really consider JJ here just because it's worth the gamble and I have a **** ton of picks anyways.

Re: RealGM Consensus Mock - #6 Oklahoma City
I’d roll the dice and go with Jalen. I think he has the highest upside left. I think upside wise, Jalen is right there with the top 5 guys.
OKC has a lot of solid pieces but at the same time they’re still a pretty black canvas outside of SGA. Versatile and moveable oats all over that roster.
With all the picks they have coming up, I’d take the chance on Jalen. I think he’s going to be a very good defender, and if that jumper comes around and OKC realizes he actually has some point forward potential (for some reason K didn’t see this). I think he could potentially become a good secondary ball handler next to SGA.
If not Jalen then I’d just go Barnes, but I’m not nearly as high on Barnes as most are.

I agree, Jalen Johnson has the highest upside and OKC has a flood of picks, draft him.

Went Keon Johnson. SGA needs a running mate and they have the 3 and 4 sewn up IMO. I could see Barnes as well and expect him to be the choice

Having a leader on a young team is crucial, go with Scottie here.

I actually feel like the fun starts at 7.
I'm fairly confident it will be the order you have with Barnes going to OKC and the rest become a toss up.

OKC is mired in a long rebuild. There are zero expectations for them, so they will probably take the biggest project with the highest ceiling.

Too risky to assume JJ isn't there at 16 and maybe go Moody to plug in next to SGA?

OKC takes the most accomplished player in the draft: Sengun!
